What is displayed are the beans I will choose from.

White Widow
White Rhino
Hindu Kush
Ice
Bubblelicious
BlueBerry
Mazar
Fat Bastard
Northern Lights.

I'm picking up a bit further along as I have already started to germinate...I have beans germing of each except for the BlueBerry, Mazar and White Widow. All the strains in red are germinating.

Grow Space: A closet roughly 18'x2'. Split in half for veg/flower sides. Each with about 7-8 usable ft.

Lighting: 400W MH for veg...400W HPS for flower

Venting: Open closet doors, 4 Wally World fans and Central AC. From experience I know my temps max temp/humidity is about 84f/55%rh

Method: 75/25 Miracle grow Organic Soil/perlite mix. Its possible that I may use my bubbler bucket. As of now I dont think I will. But the possiblity of using the bubble bucket is why I want to germinate in something I can transfer to mesh pot/rocks. I have tried in rockwool with about 90% success. But I see room for improvement in 90% success. Plus these beans arent cheap. So Im trying a new route.

Nutrients: Foxfarm GrowBig, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Botanicare Sweet (Citrus).

I've been experimenting with germinating seeds in Rapid Rooter Plugs instead of the normal method....No pre-soaking of seeds.

Moisten plug a bit more with spray bottle and water, drop in bean, pinch edge of plug off, cover hole to give seed darkness, insert into humidity dome tray, cover with dome, place on heatmat with towel....and wait.

Im already past that stage so I dont have pics.

Some beans in the Rapid Rooter plugs and tray....Those are Coco pellets on top of the hum/dome. The Rapid rooters are in the zip-lock.

As of today...I have a few beans that sprouted and have been moved to their 2gallon growbags.

Under the light now:

3 bubblelicious
2 Northern Lights
1 Ice.

There are 3 soilbags in the back ready for the next that sprout. As you can see...2 Ice, 1 Hindu Kush and 2 Northern Lights look like they'll be ready to remove from the tray either tonight or tomorrow.

The White Rhinos are moving slowly. No visible signs of anything happening.

The Fat Bastard has popped...actually a day or two ago but hasnt emerged from its slumber yet. Im keeping my fingers crossed. But if it doesn't sprout. I'll give them another shot next go round.

Im trying to keep the plants as close in age as possible. No more than 1 week's span between planting all sprouts. So starting new beans wouldnt work in this case.

New update when something is ready for planting.

As I thought...more sprouting tonight. I have work to do in the morning when the lights come on on my flower side. So getting some work done now would be a good idea....

So....

Since I last posted...1 Ice bean that I thought was going to be the next ready to plant actually pushed itself almost completely out of the plug while it was emerging.

The taproot wasnt set into the plug so I just popped it in the soil as it was. I was careful not to touch the tap....dropped it in there, covered and sprayed the soil surface. I think it'll be fine.

2 More Northern Lights also popped up....they are in the process of righting themselves so I got their bag ready too.

And finally....The 1 Hindu Kush also sprouted and is now in its growbag. Pictured is my "Not-So Special" potting mix.

So here's what we now have under the light:

4 Northern Lights
3 Ice
3 Bubblelicious
1 Hindu Kush

Still waiting to emerge:

1 Fat Bastard
3 White Rhino

The Fat Bastard seed did not germinate. So thats not going in.

All seeds have been planted except for 1 White Rhino. Im giving it a little more time before saying it didnt germ.

And 1 Ice seed was taken from the Rapid Rooter plug and put directly in the soil. It just sprouted today and is opening up.

So here's the tally on what's growing:

3 Ice
4 Northern Lights
3 Bubblelicious
2 White Rhino (maybe one more coming)
1 Hindu Kush

Had another sprout (White Rhino) not set firmly into the RR plug. It was removed and placed into soil like I did the one Ice plant..

Fingers crossed on that one. It was really close to shaking the shell....I pressed the plug to test moisture....and saw it move. Unseated.

Seedlings are doing well.....all except for one White Rhino which is growing weird. Leaves look "not right".

I'll let it go a bit to see if the leaves begin to grow normally. This is a plant that I had to help out of the shell and caused some damage obviously.

I also added two White Widow clones to bubble buckets (yeah!)...we'll see how they go. They barely made it.

I also got overly curious about Mazar and planted a bean into a pot (why? I dont know) after germing in Rockwool. As you can see....this is definitely an experimental grow.

Soil, hydro, clones, seeds, soil/rockwool/Rapid Rooters all being used.....with 7 strains. I'll be glad when this is over.
