Hey all, I recently got some beans from a common friend of some of a few of you. It is not a true MTF, there is an unknwon strain in the lineage(probably to make the beans). I sprouted three beans, 2 soil one DWC.It should be a fun grow to do, as the breeder asked me to keep a journal.

I'm just hoping the DWC doesn't go male on me.

I had one once...but that's another story from long, long ago and far, far away.

Kie: What kind of soil mix is that? Hope they come out super...that is a strain I would love to give a try some day. I figured that I'm close enough to Alaska that some seeds should be around here ...someplace!

it's Scotts home depot potting mix.

Sometimes this stain gets variegated leaves but it only lasts for a little while and it outgrows it. Sometimes the inner part of the leaves get so big they get sort of bubbly don't worry that is normal.

The crystals on the seed pods are clear the first 4 to 6 weeks of flowering. They they ripen they turn milky white. If you wait to see amber on this strain you have gone too long.

alright, I'll keep that in mind. Right now they are only on day 9 from the day they popped out of the soil.

yep, mtf and atf will have no orange hairs at harvest under good conditions. it's weird to chop a plant that looks premature, but if you wait for dead pistils, you waited too long ;)

btw, till they start to grow their next set of leaves I won't take pics of the dirt seedlings, as they aren't doing much. I might need to move the light closer.

You have a very nice start. You will be so happy with the results.

Some of the more potent smoke I have tried. It is worth the wait.
