Rep Power: 291 | | Chop Chop Time
I will cut most of these girls down this weekend. I just finished my 8th week and I think they are done. For the most part the majority will get chopped and I will leave the lower ones for another week to see if they will get a bit more light and get bigger too.
As soon as I can I will post some final pics and some chopped bud shots.
I wanted to water cure some also just to see if it makes a big difference with smoking and the smell of it. I've got some older folks for neighbors and when the wind blows I worry. I'm legal I just don't need any neighbors getting bent on me in this light is all.
Man this has taken a long time to get to this point. Thank you to Green Passion and all who have helped me on this grow. There are too many of you to list and I appreciate all the good words and help keeping me on the right track.

If you don't mind no smell and taste, then water curing is for you. It is actually stronger and burns in your bowl a long time. My wife and I love it water cured. Congrats on the harvest.

Thanks Bill I have cut down 50% of the girls and it took me 3.5 hours to trim the buds. It was more fidgety then hard sort of. Gr8t scissors Fiskars® - Garden Scissors
With the spring and real sharp pointy tips it was not too bad on my sore hands. My back hurts more then my hands. LOL But or and I should say got a neat little ball of finger hash too. Tasty stuff. Pics to follow sorry I'm beat.
I filled a large plastic bowl of trimmed bud and I have them hanging on hangers in the closet with a fan on them. That room smells real nice. And I have trim to make some canna butter of EVOO with.
I will post some pics later. | | The Following User Says Thank You to I8ntLucky_UR For This Useful Post:

Here is the other half of the harvest I call the 2nd cut. There was too much for me to trim all at once first time and all. Plus I let the lower buds go another week to see if they would ripen a bit more.
I got a lot on even the 2nd cut. There were many smaller popcorn buds some a bit bigger and then a whole bunch thumb sized I left as just trim for maybe some oil. There really is a lot of left over bud trim and plant material I didn't want to waste. And after trying the canna butter this is too valuable to toss.
I wanted to try a water cure like so many have tried and had success with. I would like to smoke some without fear of neighbors getting wafs of smoke too! I am legal but still worry about neighbors finding out.
I filled a cooler with trimmed lower bud and half filled with fresh 48 hr set water. I change the water every day with fresh. I started this past Sunday so they should be ready to dry this Sunday. Many members have told me this makes the bud not smell. Rep Power: 201 | | Outstanding 18. Love your new jar collection and those nugs are sweet looking. Cooked butter products keep better in the frig, they get ugly in the freezer. |

Does it go bad?
I should have started with less then 200 gr of trim I guess and less butter but I never expected it to be that strong. I need to be able to function too! LOL

Rep Power: 201 | | Morning Lucky. 1/2 lbs of trim, what were you expecting, shrinkage...LOL... Cannabutter products supposedly keep about 90 days in the frig. I think maybe baking up some into cookies and freezing them will use some up. You can send me a tin...lol. Peace. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Zigzagman For This Useful Post:
