Rep Power: 47 | | Lowryder #2 from The Alchemist Good morning everyone! Well, after growing hydro (or should I say attempting to grow hydro) for the last year I have decided to get dirty again. I just was not happy with Hydro at all, had always been a dirt farmer and now I am going back to it! With that said I am trying some Lowryder #2 Feminized to see how this auto-flower strain works. Here are a few photos I took this morning, keep in mind that they just popped up on 10-17-09 and are only 4 days old. They are supposed go from seed to finish in 9 weeks, so lets see what happens. | | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to The Alchemist For This Useful Post: | |

Rep Power: 47 | | Lowryder #2 from The Alchemist (Day 19)
Well, it's been 19 days since these popped through the soil, yesterday I transplanted them into gallon sized growbags with my own soil mix. I had never grown autoflower (let alone auto-fem) before, but I think they are looking fairly well. Here are a few photos I took today. Any thoughts or hints would be great!

urs are looking ood. goodluck | Thanks! I stopped using non-feminized seeds a few grows ago and have not had any problems so far! Just testing the waters with the auto-flower Fems to see what I get.

That's a nice setup! I grew an auto flower called "little devil" they were fem seeds but 4 out of 5 were males. I grew them with my other plants so I had them on 18 hours light for veg and 12 for flower. They took just as long to finish. I had them on 12 hour light cycle which may have slowed them down. The smoke was ok but nothing to rave about.
once again this is all fiction and just like to tell stories.

Rep Power: 47 | | Lowryder #2 from The Alchemist: Day 27
Hi everyone,
Well it has been 27 days since these ladies broke the soil and I thought I would give you all a quick update with a few photos. I am 4 for 4... All girls, I was a little worried about the taller of the 4 as she was not showing hairs until I caugh a glimps of hairs yesterday, but the other four are really starting take off. The tall one may go hermi, since she seemed to be on the fence. Take a look at the photos!

I did a lot of reading about the auto-flower strain and you really need to keep them at 20 hours or more since you are supposed to be simulating the growing areas that do not have long night time periods. Only time will tell.

I figured while I had my main grow tents full of normal strains (for lack of better words) I would give these autos a shot. They seem to be doing really well and they are already giving off a nice aroma. Not to bad for a small bedroom closet grow.

wow, those are really coming along. keep it up. I was wondering, you mentioned grow tents. I've been looking into getting a couple and would love any advice as to brands or anything you might be able to tell me to aid in my decision.
thanks, KGB....
