Late Grow Journal With Pics

I have decided to do a late grow journal. For those of you that don't know me i'll fill you in and get you up to date.

My grow room is a small spare room about 8' X 10', but i only use a small space in the closet for vegging. My vegging area is about 2' X 3' with plenty of height. I have oscillating fans, intake fan, exhaust fan, thermometers, hygrometer, GH 3 part, ph pen, ppm pen, all the stuff you need. I use 6500k cfl's for vegging and hps to flower. My flowering room is about 2.5' X 4' and about 7' from floor to the ceiling. My current grow which i will be sharing with you is a soil grow.

I had some bag seed from different bags kickin' around so i thought i'd put them to the test. On Dec.13 i put 10 seeds to germinate using the wet paper towel method. By Dec.15 all 10 seeds cracked and were planted into moistened jiffy pellets. By Dec.18 10/10 have sprouted and a couple had little roots emerging from the pellets. I transplanted them into 4" round pots and watered them so the soil was moist through out. The plants were off to a horrible start due to some serious neglect. For the first 3 weeks of their lives they went through hell.

Jan.9, they are about 3 weeks after sprout from soil and look horrible, here are the pics.









Jan 15, they are starting to look better, they are about 4 weeks here are the pics.









Jan.24, it's roughly 5 weeks, they have been transplanted into slightly larger 6" pots now. I also have 2 new baby plants, one is in the left front and the other is in the left rear.









Feb.1, roughly 6 weeks, i transplanted 7 of them into larger pots and also moved them under my hps. Tomorrow will be the first day of 12/12 for the ones that were transplanted, the others will remain in veg. Here are the pics.





Feb.6, they have been under my hps on 12/12 timer for 5 days now, and 5 of the 7 are showing white hairs. in the last 5 days the really took off and look very happy, i think they like hps. I was getting ready to water them.



it's hard to tell in the picture but these fans are over 7" across both ways.





Feb.11, i was inspecting them like i normally do and i see one more plant is showing white hairs. That's 6 out of 7 looking female, however the last plant isnt showing anything yet. I don't see nuts anywhere. 2 of the plants have smaller more narrow leaves, they both look to be female. The other 5 have large dark green fans leaves and thick stems, and all but one are showing hairs. Here are the pics, i just took them about 6 hours ago.

















Now everyone should be up to par with a million pics too. I will be updating this journal about once a week with pics for the remainder of the grow. I will also answer any question you might have along the way.

PS i am a pathological liar, and have illusions of grandeur. I post pictures of pot plants i found on the internet and i have never nor will i ever consider the cultivation of marijuana, as it is illegal.

Thanks for the responses guys. Yes they got off to a rough start, i almost killed them. Then i had to bring them back to life from the sad little seedling they were. I just checked on them and they are looking great, very happy and healthy. As i've already stated before these are some bag seed from random bags, they came from different bags of KUSH. I know that it's hard to tell for sure, but i believe that these plants are some type of kush or kush x strain. I think that the huge dark fans and thick stems are kush traits.

I was just inspecting them again like i normally do and i see one more plant is showing white hairs. That's 7 out of 7 looking female! I can't ****ing believe it!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! I will definatly be keeping my eyes peeled for any hermie activity.

The plants are doing good. One was looking droopy on top and the plants/pots were light so i watered them today. Two of the plants (the ones with the samller leaves) are starting to show lots of buds forming, however the other five with the huge fans are behind pace a bit. My flowering room is getting pretty full. I didn't expect to get 7/7 all female so it's frickin' tight in there now. I'm still in disbelief, but i'll take it!

****! Today i just noticed that my flowering light had been on for 12 hours and 15 mins a day, so the plants were only getting 11 hours and 45 mins of sleep, not the full 12 hours. I changed the timer so that they should be getting 12/12 now.
