damn shaman yours is growing fast, mine's still getting it's root structure, but it's starting to get a little bit of growth. it has penetrated through a 3 in. net pot full of aquarium gravel.

oh, in my grow container I've got some sort of algae, or it could be fungi on the wall of my res. couldn't I put hydrogen peroxide in small amounts to stop this from happening?

algea is only a problem where light is getting in and as i know small amounts of peroxide will not harm the plant i dont know how good at being an anti algae agent it is however im also a saltwater and fresh water reef aquarium owner and we use Ultra violet light to kill it off in aquariums but the price is a little much for this application i would say drain it all clean it well and fill it back up is what i would do but that is just my opinion.

alright, well I did 4 coats of paint on the container, before that it was semi-clear I painted it in layers of: black,white, black, white. so I don't think light is a problem there.

hey K, i had a tub with two plants, the roots got tangled at 3 weeks, i needed to put them in seperate buckets, and when i tried to untangle them, i couldnt.... the end result was that i had to cut them apart leaving a few dead roots still tangled within the root ball, which turned gnarly brown in a few days... i used 2 tablespoons per gallon of food grade h202 and that took care of that!
