Couldn't you just leave the males with the female and let them all pollinate her? I think you are supposed to pollinate the girls when their pistils are white. I think you should use all three of the males. I read somewhere that the mother plant could be some killer but the seeds could be duds so you never know what you have until the strain is stabilized through several grows. It made sense to me but then again I have never attempted to do what you are doing right now.

Hey meigs I'm really sorry to hear about your misfortune and thought I'd shed a little light on your situation.
I actually went through almost the same thing where an emergency struck and I basically had some of my plants without light for a couple of days. I was to the point where I figured I was just going to throw them out but instead I took the initiative to do what I could with it. The newest leaves on each top were like a dead-looking gray color and there was a bit of yellowing and wilting.
You will be surprised at the regeneration and determination to bud these plants have. They want to bud for you SO badly that they'll survive pretty bad conditions just to stay alive. Judging from what I see in the picture your plant is very happy to be alive and should shower you with buds pretty soon ;)

They have recovered well. So well I had to cut the main top. Just won't stop growing to the light...burning themselves...so I smoked it. Last night I re-potted in a 14 in round pot, fresh soil, bat poo/molasses tea, bent some of the tall branches down with bag ties...today, it looks like the buds doubled in size. I'm sure it will be another 4 weeks or so. Thanks for reading.
Peace.

I'm aquiring a good bit of the stuff and thinking of trying this: QwikWash iso hash oil They just won't stop grow'in...so I'm hacking them back to managable size for my space...they just Keep stringing out there...reaching for the light.
Peace

Well...I've been topping/chopping my plants last week. They seem to be recovering. Still growing into the light. Seem to be putting on the buds quicker now. I've turn back the daylight to 11.5 hrs, maybe next week, 11hrs and its getting cooler in there...mid 60's to lower 70's I got some of the tops bent down so they don't burn more than they are. They really need cut again...but I want the buds to get a bit bigger if possible. There are some nice formations growing down low...so I'm going to try harvest top down. Going to try my hand at pollenating this weekend. ToppedFA.jpg Happy growing Peace. |

Rep Power: 313 | | I've had about enough of these two!
Well, I've notice the upper buds have a different look than the bottom ones...got to looking and found this mutated looking flower coming out of a crack between the main stem and branch? Hope the pic shows it. FAabnorm.jpg So, I'm wondering is this stress or trait coming out is it a mutation or a hermie. I found another on the other side it was more female-ish. I thinking I'm just going to hack them down, below that node. I'm not to impressed with these girls...I deem them not good for me. I think they would have done better outside...but I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay away from the south of the border bagseed...unless I want to practice or test some hydro for myself. Well, I'm off to cut and clear for the next project... Peace. |

well even if it wasn't the best grow ever, it still was a learning experience (does that ring hollow? a grow is a big investment...don't mean to rush you through the five stages of grief following a disapointing grow) Glad to see you already looking forward to your next grow...as long as we are alive (and perhaps even after) we always get to start again with fresh hope.

And I'm not disapointed at all...I collected pollen and gettin a pile of little green buds to smoke. I wish I had started with the bagseed...work out the bugs of the growing system that works for me. Between making bad choices working out issues...I've spent more money than I needed to. Still more room for improvment...I'll be working on a new flower box this late winter (one more grow for this box)...so I'll be watching your current grow for ideas.
Happy Growing!
Peace.

Rep Power: 313 | | Then there was one.
So, I took the smaller totally down and made 2 lbs. of canna butter out of a lot of leaves and small buds. Wow, why have I been smoking pot! I should have been extracting the goods. I did the ISO Wash thing...waiting for the results. The brownies are fantastic...pain reduction was better and just a overall up feeling. I think this is a pretty funny thread and informative Tomorrow is butter day give it a read. It seem to help with the smell by putting a little vanilla extract in the pot while cooking.
With some witching and incantation...she is about done FA10_26.jpg bud10_26.jpg Not a huge amount but enough for me what I've sampled of it it is much better than the bag the seed came from. Not sure I'm a big fan of a sativa buzz...I seem to get more paranoia-ish thoughts. I got some Blueberry and White Widdow veggin. WW is for the ex-wife...she needs serious meds. Got the seeds from HGS...no problems there. They seem to be very strong. BB_WWveg.jpg Happy Growing! Peace. |

Peace. | Hey Miegs, your blueberry are probably relatives of mine as that is where mine are from. It should be interesting to see how they grow for each of us. My seeds are pretty good too, no probs and the plants leaves almost look like cardboard, so healthy and strong!
Good luck my friend!
