i would like to know why they are so purple. i mean none of the strains used to make jock are purple strains. ive never ever seen purple jock, its just kinda weird but cool none the less. i have actually spoken on the phone with one of the guys at nirvana about jock and as you all know its haze,northern light, and skunk. and as far as i know none of the breeding stock they used are purple...its just wierd to get a purple pheno like that. that is a pretty purple though, and its going to look good when it dries. it will be all dark purple and yummmy.

this thread has got me so excited to see mine. im gonna veg for another 2 weeks then ill post some pics, no one really wants to see veg im sure cause they all look the same. oh, you might want to cut those at the nodes and hang them to dry. leaving them all on the big stalk will take longer cause it will still be using all the moisture in the stalk. it can also effect the taste and how it burns cause it will still be using any moisture and ferts left behind even if you did using pure water for the last 2 weeks. great work dude!!!

rezn718, im not so sure its such a polite thing to do to just start posting pics in someone else's thread. if you are going to keep a journal, you may want to start your own thread so we can watch them from the beginning. dont take this the wrong way, its just not polite to take over someones thread like that. but good looking setup and plants none the less, great job brosif!

Alright, the results are in. I don't have a scale, so I don't know quantitatively how much. But the pics should speak for themselves.

The last pic is enough for me for a loooooong time. I normally use a one-hitter, and each side bud is pretty much an entire bowl. WOWZA.

In the next couple days, I will start a new thread for my second grow. And Hobo, stop fretting. I have potted up my clones, and they are enjoying being able to grow again.

Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way. Specifically, I'd like to thank GP for the tip on the seeds, Smokedoja for the rubbermaid idea, everyone that posted in this thread for one reason or another, and last but not least, ISO2BWELL for being my growing hero. I love your style.

Wow dude, just wow. You dont know how big of a smile i have on my face just looking at these. Seeing what you were able to grow in such a small space makes me soooooo optimistic about what i can grow. Mine will be 4weeks this tuesday and god are they big for soil and cfl and on one of them i think i see a female preflower...i have 6 growing, as long as 2 or 3 are female im good. Plus i have a little more space so im gonna do a scrog

Im going monday to get some good nutrients (ive been using mostly miracle grow 30-10-10 along with some earth juice catalyst and pureblend grow, calmag, hydroguard. And i still have some open sesame, cha ching, and beastie bloomz and earth juice bloom left too which would get me through this grow but im gonna get a few more things monday. I have a little big more light than you did (2 42w, 2 26w day, and 2 23w soft) and my space has more height but for the most part its identical. Im so excited dude, thanks for the thread man, its made me feel like a little kid waiting on christmas morning and im not kidding either. I really like how yours turned out purple, thats soooo weird. Oh, did yours seem to have wide leaves for a mainly sativa strain? Cause mine are kinda wide but then again they are just 4wks. I guess my seeds were more indica dominant which is fine with me cause it will keep them a little shorter. Anyways, if i get half as much as you did ill be fucking happy. Thanks for this thread dude, ill probably be contacting you for help in the future.
