Default Damn I am DUMB

OK, I think I may have figured out what is partly to blame for the yellowing leaves. I was looking at the watering device that I use for my plants, and I realized that I have been giving them half a cup of water, not a quarter like I though. So instead of them thinking it rained every other day, it flooded every four or five. I bet thats why they aren't doing so hot. I posted a pic of my new watering device, with accurate ounce measurements. You can see on the sticker right underneath the triangle the line where I thought a quarter cup (2 ounces) was, right on the four ounce line. Hopefully, thats the end of the yellowing.

P.S. They look almost the same as yesterday

honestly my friend.. it doesn't matter between a half and a quarter cup, the plants don't notice a difference, I DRENCH my pots every 2 days, giving about the same amount of water as there is soil. No matter how much water you give the soil will hold as much as it can either way, but if you give too much(3 times your soil volume) you can leach nutrients out. That is not the same as over watering looks.

I think it might be iron def, here's a pic, tell me if it looks similar.

Black spot? that means you could have some bug problem. If its on your bottom leaves it could be thrips if its on your top leaves it could be mites.

Thrips make shiny spots on the leaf where they extract the chlorophyll from and it will eventually turn brown then black. if they are at the very bottow and dont look to be productive you may want to remove them .but that is imo

NOOO H202 is like alcohol, it kills the good and bad, along with delivering oxygen to roots, but it's not worth it. You need the beneficial microbes in the soil to turn organic and inorganic compounds into usable plant foods. along with(sometimes) getting rid of plant wastes in the root system.
mabee i should have made this clearer you can add h2o2 but only in small doeses like 1% in your water...an only if you use the highgrade stuff not the store bought kind..i forget the percentages but the lower ones are cut different...also useing h2o2 to kill bactiera between grows is great..u.s farmers use h2o2 solutions from everything from killin bacteria to supplementing it with the nutes...i have an artice about it in one of my can.culture mags...if you need i can give you the issuse number so you can refrence it off the site..peace
