one of the girls have almost lost all her large fan leaves. They were removed by either the fan's wind or by a gentle touch. This leaves me with buds mainly on the upper part of the plant w/popcorn buds along the way. I've also noticed that the temps are getting higher and higher, as expected.
Now, since most of my buds are on the top and are all cloudy, i'm debating wether i should take out the four extra cfls to reduce the heat. Some of the leaves have curled a little more than before. When i turned those off, the temps went down about four degrees and there seems to be light reaching the leaves from the T5 itself--does anyone know what the penetration distance are for T5?. Is this advisable? Should i go something like "more light, more heat is better than less light, and less heat?

So, due to security concerns (my dad taking a peek during lights off when i'm at work) i've had to chop down both girls--i was wondering why they weren't maturing. I, like a true stoner, don't know how the hell i deleted the harvest photos from my camera. After chopping down the girls, i lifted her out of the bucket only to find that i, like a true stoner, forgot the water the perlite before adding, so the bottom of the bucket was almost solid. . Lots of roots in the soil and not solidified perlite.
It took about an hour to trim the big fan leave i could easily snip and reach--i left the frosty ones for later trimming. Once my fingers got sticky it was hard to roll the stem between my fingers.
The shorter bushier one, imo, could have gone a week or more and the lankier one i was happy with, but could have gone a few more days to fill. I don't really have free space to hang them in a closet so i paper bagged them. Since i have a pretty huge cola from both girls, all the buds are in one bag, and humidity levels in the 60, i'll be checking and rotating twice a day. I'm assuming it'll take longer to dry for the reasons stated. I do have a lot of "popcorn" buds which i'm hoping will dry soon so i can cure them.
Any questions other than wheres the pictures?

Here are the buds dry. I yielded about 38.3 grams. the nug i'm holding was the heaviest at 4 grams, not the heaviest i've read, but good enough. I samples some of the smaller buds and it's a pretty good high. It's almost the same as if i were to pay for it, but tastes better even though i can taste a little bit chlorophyl. On one of the buds there was no chlorophyl taste, it was such a clean tasting smoke with a bit of sweetness the curing should bring out. yea.
With this harvest i save $65 per eight, so well over five bills...I think a few more harvests like this then i'll break even with the grow supplies.

Congratulations on the harvest kaili, nice looking buds. I'm sure they'll taste even better shortly. Hummm.
