Default Green's flower room

Okay, since i don't get on track with my DWC units and still grow everything on soil i will put my DWC journal here to rest till i get going on this project again and document my current grow in this thread from now on - so this will hold my soil journal from now on

Got both strains in there, all remaining mother plants are now growing in my largets bucket pots, 3 clones of which i lost track but i wanted to geow em into chrismas trees to check if natural plants yield more then topped ones (which i doubt but someone came up with that theory last month and now i put it to the test) and one JH clone from #3 if i'm correct.

Curently the HPS is still set to 18/6 as i want more plant bulk to work with and let the roots expand, they are in since last saturday now and reacting well to the HPS.

The new carbon filter is still not mounted, that is for either the weekend or next week. also do i still need to open the exaused hole bit more as it has only 4" right now and i want to go to 6" to reduce the noise a bit by letting the air expand more before its blown out.

In the rear i have 2 5l canisters filled with 4l water, 1 lb sugar and yeast to prvide extra CO2 to my grow and in the front i have a big fan to keep the air moving but as soon as i start to flower these i will add a little fan for the bottom along.

Lesson learned today: Don't shake the yest water tank with a lid on - it will end in an explosion!

just wanted to give it a quick shake without spilling it and insted to use my hand to close it off I used the lid and the rest is one big mess. So tonight i will have to sweep the floor of my grow

Hey Green,

I hate when that happens. At least now you know better!...

well i feared that this could happen but i thought if i'm careful enough and slowly reless pressure after every single shake it would be fine - DON'T TRY IT!

hahaha, what a freaken day. started on the exhaust hole for the fan again, wanted to push it outside now, thru a wall instead into the basement as it used to be. Though this brick wall would be only about 4-6" strong and had now to figure that i was pounding thru more then a foot of hard concrete core brick. damn tough stuff if you only work with hammer and chisel, but i made my way thru it, only have open the hole now to 6" in dia for the outlet tube.... holly molly is that some work!

Talking

I hear ya Green,

I don't know how many times I've had to clean out a window frame so that it was square and the right size after masons screwed it up! I really PO'd my boss at that time when I told him I was a carpenter, not a mason and get the masons in here to fix it as they screwed it up to begin with!!

Later,
4kaan4

btw: within a week of my outburst I no longer was employed by that "outfit" of misfits!

i would have been looking for a new job as well

but i would love if it would be a window opening that has to be cleaned out, this is just a 4-5" wide hole going thru a 12" wall, so no place for my hammer, the chisel and my knuckles. might get me some power tool to finish the rest. took me more then 2 hours to just work that tiny hole into the wall, guess i'm getting lazy lately
