Looks good GG, may have to try the bubble cloner you have going on... I cloned 7 in peat pellets in a little make shift humidity dome and got 100% clonage.. Eventually looking at hydro and think you are on the money with that bubble dealio..
Peace,
Sock

Thanks guys.. That bubble cloner can be found in justanotherbozos post.. I think he had a tutorial on it. It is pretty simple to setup. The pipe insulation work fine too.. really easy to get clones in and out of and cheap.

Peace | thanks hon, it's nice to be appreciated!
and thank you too Green, i got your PM
i just finished catching up on your thread, i've been 'away' for a while so i fell behind. i must say, you have progressed very well while i was gone.
lol, you're not a 'noob' anymore.
anyway, i see you had a problem with water and you got some good advice from jangel and tokecrazy, his filter gizmo is the shit.
something else you might want to consider is a Reverse Osmosis system, you too jangel.
here's a link to one at Home DePot for under $200.00 Search Results for osmosis
what you'd do with a unit like that is install it under your kitchen sink, it would either have some kind of valve set up or, more commonly, it would have it's own little faucet that you'd have to drill a hole for in the counter top (simple as hell to do). then, you'd use the RO water to drink, cook with and for your plants (you'd want to check this but i'm pretty sure the RO unit will take out the sodium from the softener and make the water paletable to the plants again)
anyway, now that i'm back i'll try to be more timely with my advice, lol

Thanks Bozo! Good to see you back. I have made a good bit of progress over the past month.. I actually just flipped my flower cabinet over to 12/12.
I have four plants in there.. the one monster plant under scrog, two that were topped and are about 12" tall, and one "donkey dick" that looks like it is going to just stretch straight up. The other three are going to be bushy...
It's about to get crowded in the cabinet.. Let the games begin!

I switched my flower cabinet to a 12/12 several days back and I think three of the four plants are females. Which is obviously great... One hasn't really shown sex yet, so I am going to check again when the lights come back on at 6pm this eve. I was happy to see what looked to be pistils on the one "donkey dick" plant that came from bagseed. That was the one I was worried about being a male. The other three are from seeds that I bought in Amsterdam and think were feminized. Anywho.. here are a few pics. I will try to snap some more this eve.

I couldn't have done it without ya hon! And the fine help of many others on this site. That one plant in the back right of the pic is the one I nuked with the water out of the softener. One month ago, it was all but dead and now it is raging like crazy even after being topped! It's awesome how all of the lower branches stretch up when you top... and the tops I took off are now clones Quote:

I think I did luck out.. looks like that last one is a female too. One question I have that I got thinking about today when reading fmans thread... The seeds I have found in bagseed have all been rather scarce. In other words.. out of an ounce.. maybe only two or three seeds found and I pick through pretty much everything. Is it possible that these seeds are from a plants that have hermied a little and produced feminized seeds?
I found a little blurb here.. Feminized Cannabis seeds |

whats up GG i was looking through this thread again and had a question. the picture you have about the preflowers that jangel quoted and said its to early to tell. What did that plant turn out to be? because some of the preflowers on my bigger plant are quite similar and i was just hoping you could enlighten me seeing as how you are an arms length ahead of me it seems. take a look at some of my preflower pics they look somewhat the same to me.

I found a little blurb here.. Feminized Cannabis seeds | Yes, GG. They could be feminized. Most grows are from clones so the odd hermie does happen. Just watch all your plants, as this tendancy to hermie can also be carried foreward. Especailly if they get stressed for any reason: dry out too long, go hungry, get over ferted, pot bound, all this plus more can cause hermies.
They also can pop nads in a hidden place, so look all over, not just in front of your nose. That is most likely how those seeds where formed.
Peace.

wow man VERY nice.
im still hoping about that big one i have. seems still to be putting more energy into vertical growth than flower production but i guess it could be more sativa based as jangel was sayin in my thread. maybe you can tell by looking at the pics if they look the same, or like males to you. how many days is this into flower for these? just curious cause im about 6 days in myself, and the smaller one was showing pistils about a day or 2 ago. while the bigger of the 2 seems to just grow for the lights.

Thanks! These have been in flower for a week now. The first pic is from the big plant on the left in the pic below. The other two are from the plant in the front right.. that one did not really show until a few days later. You can kind of see how there are two pistils in the second pic and the little shoot behind it. That nodule where the pistils came out, and that little sprout a few days ago looked like balls to me.. but they were not. I will take another look at your pics and see if I can tell any similarity. Hey everyone! I had a request from Jebus for some detailed pics of the flower cabinet, so I have a ton of pics to upload. First.. a few more pics of the plants themselves! I counted at least 60 shoots coming up though the Wire in the Scrog! They are looking really nice! |

The last pic is of a bottle cap from my favorite beer.. Magic Hat. It reminds me to not tinker too much with the plants.... Like over watering, over fertilizing, etc. It says "Don't despoil the soil". I opened the beer one night when I was down there tinkering.. it was a nice reminder to keep it simple, so I keep it wedged in the wire of my scrog. All of the magic hat beers have witty banter under every cap!
