Got my new scale today, so weighed up just to see what I ended up with. Final tally was 93.6 grams, after about a months' cure, or 3.16 oz from 3 plants, and probably smoked or gave away a quarter to 1/2 oz. Very fluffy and airy, and burns so perfectly. Pop a bud in glass bowl, and swweeeeett!!
I love the smoke, super soft and nice, but probably wouldn't grow the same strain again for the low yield.
But are these some dank looking buds or what? | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to insub4u2 For This Useful Post: | |

Rep Power: 99 | | Cannabutter Story Problem!
Ok, This is a story problem, just like in elementary school!
I got bored this weekend, and wanted to make some brownies, so read up on cannabutter and used the boiling water method. I took 2 cups water, boiled it, added the butter, and reduced to ultra low. When melted, I added about 13 grams (1/2 oz almost) of finely ground white widow bud trimmings, some skunk #1, a touch of Mex scwhag, and a few good size widow buds, so should have been a mix you'd be happy to just smoke. I then simmered it for about 4 hours, cooled it and strained it, poured into tupperware and let set over night. Voila, pop out the butter, water pours out, make brownies.
In an 8 inch pan, I put 8 oz of butter, or 2 sticks, baked at 300 for45 minutes, and I had some great tasting brownies, here's the link: Cocoa Brownies Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network
Only thing is, I ate one, I didn't get high, I ate two, I didn't get high, I ate 3, I didn't get high, but I was getting to eat some dank, tasty brownies!
What may I have done wrong?
Extra Credit: The brownies don't get ya high, but dang, they are some of the best I've tasted anywhere(used Ghiradelli Cocoa) Do I still eat them for munchies?
PS: Add black walnuts or 1/4 c of rasberry jam to this recipe, WOW!! :Fridg e: |

First and foremost thank you Insub!! As some one who has only been a member here at GP for a very short time and has only one grow to their name with absolutely no guidance while doing it I am was and am very pleased to have come across your grow diary. Your grow experience with all the input from the great people here was extremely informative and helpful. I wish I found this site and your post 4 months ago! Now with much much reading done and your helpful example and the fine advise of other Members I think I am truly ready to start proper grow. I only did the first grow as kind of a lark, my neighbor gave me seeds for free and as I do not smoke my self I planned on giving the yield what ever it turned out to be to my Brother for his B-Day present(They say the things you make your self mean the most as a gift!). I love puttering around in my garden and growing all manner of plants. Although originally I had no real interest in growing weed I found as time went by that I grew attached to my few spindly, measly plants. I got very frustrated about their health but had no knowledge to help them out(I grew indoors potted in soil. So for this up coming grow I and my soon to be started plants thank you and all members of GP for sharing your wealth of knowledge and passion. I know my brother will thank you for it, LOL!!!!

It warms my heart to feel someone else enjoyed my journey, and that my trial and errors may have made your trek easier. What started as a wild haired whim grew into something fun, positive, goofy, technical, and ultimately, a lot of fun.
