|  First Grow. lets see what i got This is my bubbleponics system i made at home. I had six seedlings and sadly only two have survived. still trying to perfect the way. So be critical i need to learn how to do things the right way. Here are some pics of bubba and larry they are both bag seeds. Bubba is 9" and larry is 6 1/2" it is their 25th day since i transplanted em into the bubbleponics system. Sorry but i took the pics with my phone dont got a camera. Can you see any pre-flowers or is it still too early? | ||||||||

|  I can't really tell much from the pics as far as sex goes. "Bubba and Larry"??? Hope you get a Cathy and Matilda! It does look like that HPS is awful close in to the plants though. What is the temp in there? Do you have a circulating fan running? Any ideas on what levels your nutes are at? Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like you're pushing them pretty hard. Overall, they look pretty good...big fan leaves on 'em!  ISO

| I just changed the water today...the light is 150w so i was thinking it wouldnt b bad to have it that close cuz it didnt feel too warm over the plant. it is around 8" from top of plant. i got two circulating fans in the closet. i put 3 tsp of flora gro per gal, 2 tsp of flora micro per gal, and 1 tsp of flora bloom per gal. | Using Gh 3 part.You may want to go to hydronopic.net and get the GH weekly feeding chart.There's a few charts there too.That mix is hot for them right now.The temp is to high and the light is a little close.You need a fan blowing a cross the tops of them.How do you check the PH&PPM of the mix.Go look at that chart and cut back on the nutr a little.Better pix will help too.It's to early to tell sex. | thats a little high. crank up those fans or install more to get it below 80 degrees

| I have a tall fan that gently blows thru the top and today i added a small fan that will exhaust the room(hopefully that lowers the temp a bit) I check the ph with an aquarium ph tester. it has the liquid and little test tube. I dunno much about the ppm.according to the GH PPM calculator i have 764 ppm for every 4 gals. i have 8 gals in there. what does that mean? Last edited by shadankadank; 03-14-2008 at 09:45 PM. | PPM is parts per millon.The meter to test the PPM is a TDS meter.TDS is total dissolved solids.Save up your penny and get a PH meter and a TDS meter.It's a muss in hydro.The only way to know what to adjust in your solution.The aquarium tester for ph be sure to check the color in daylight.Till you can get a meter mix your nutr at 1/4 strenght for a week to 10 days.If they are growing good and look health bump it up to 1/2 strenght for a few weeks.Do take a look at those feeling charts at hydronopics.net go to the learning center,weekly feeling.Better mix than the back of the bottle.PEACE
