 First Grow / Experiment
Im starting this grow document for myself and others to possibly learn from. Im using T-8 CFl tubes and so far I've had great results! To this date im on day 21 from germinating. Approx day 18 to day 15 for some from sprouting. I first started them outside for a week because I was on the middle of a move. From germinating to sprout one took 3 days, three took 4 days and one took 5 days.      |

This is day 16 now. After the move I finally had some time to rig up a location for my setup. I stole one of the shop lights we had and bought new bulbs for it, two 32w 2700 lumens 6500k spectrum T-8's

The next day, 17. I got creative with some of the moving boxes and cut up some cardboard to enclose an area. I also rigged up the wall's with aluminum foil. Which I now learned is retarted to do, but its better than cardboard lol.

Back again with another update for you all. I recently added a couple t-12 fixtures with grow and aquarium light bulbs in them, a good friend gave them to me for free so I figured that I would throw them in too. It couldn't hurt. I had to trim up the 1st and 3rd branches off the 2nd to the right plant because it was becoming too large for the grow room and covering up too much light for the others. I have a feeling it will be male anyways. Also, finally got around to painting the walls matte white and installing a temp/humidity meter. The last image is of the 2 plants I acquired from a friends outdoor grow and the little seedlings are some more I have going. The far left and 2 far right plants are from the original grow. I know its hot as hell in there but I can't do much about it yet. The sun setting in this summer weather makes the surrounding area so hot. |
