| Newbie Seedling
|  First grow I was planning to start this grow when I had all the hydro equipment ready, but my grow partner had other plans. I now have 7 plants growing in soil, on my enclosed front porch. I realize that my babies will need to be moved from plain sight soon, and that more light and a better environment is imperative. I'm not even sure what strain these plants are, and they are not all the same. Recently bought a 1000w Mh setup, which has broken down  . The thread for that issue is here. This will be interesting to see if, with all of these forces going against me, a good crop can result. -Opera

| Update I moved the plants upstairs a few weeks ago. I scrambled and managed to find three 4 foot floro ballasts to hang up. 150 total watts from fluorescents isn't much, but the plants are doing just fine. I was hoping to get them under the fixed MH setup, but alas, more problems; the new capacitor didn't fix the problem with the ballast. I'm going to break out the electrical tester tonight and track diwn the source of the problem. I'll probably end up buying a replacement kit from htgsupply.com (should have done that in the first place). Good thing that I'm in no hurry to get these plants done, I'll just keep vegging until I can get everything else up and running. Here's some new pics from a few days ago, -Opera

| They look happy! Nice and compact. If they are happy, then don't stress. They will do just fine.
