Thanks for the encouragement, they are getting there.
Lucky,
As for when I am looking at putting them into flowering, I want to give them a week or 2 in their new home before I flower. Just to make sure all is good and I get the watering and feeding amounts down. As for cloning, thanks for the idea of how to mark them didn't think of that but it definity makes sense and will be helpful to know which is which. Am just looking at clipping off the bottom right now, haven't thought of topping them. If I do that how will it affect their growth height wise? I still have about 3 feet before they reach max height. Thought it was a long shot of guess what the one strain is but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
The only dumb question is the question not asked....
Allen,
Thanks on the comment of the cooler. I have tried it out to make sure it works. It brought the temps down about 5-7 degrees, not sure how long the froozen bottles last didn't run it that long to see. It 's like it will be next spring before I really have to put it to the test. I can put 12 - 12oz bottles in at a time, have 24 ready to go in the freezer when needed...
Hopefully I can get everything in place today/night and will have the clones in the box before bed time...
Just need to pick up a few more things. Side note when trying to buy gardening sluppies during fall is a hard thing to do, no one is stocking anything anymore. Want to 4 different stores to find some veramite for the cloner. Lowe's was the only place that still had it in stock. Now I need a fan or 2 and do you think anyone carries them now? Was told when I asked about them; Do you mean the ones with heat? No I reply, the ones that you was during the summer to help cool you off. Oh those, we don't carry them this time of year just the ones with heaters. Headed back out to check a few more places, hopefully i can find some.
Thanks for the replies and comments, they are greatly appreciated.

Howdy Everyone,
It has been a week since we transplanted the babies into their final homes.
The temps and hump. are doing good as well. Haven't had to water them yet, using the moister tester they are just now coming down from 10 they are around 6-7 range. We are still misting them on a daily basis.
I have added 9-2 inch vent holes at the bottom of the doors to help with venting. Just didn't think we was getting enough intake before, going to wait about another week before we flower to make sure that the added vents will be enough.
I also took clones last night, figured I would try my hand at that. I am using this method Wallmart cloner~ Justanotherbozo style!
It looked to be the easiest for me, since I have never cloned before. I was still uncertain about doing the cutting part but managed to work the courage to do it. Now just crossing fingers and hope they survive.
A couple of pic's to share with all
The first 2 are a group shot and set-up shot, the next are the clones and the last is the added on vents.
I got the ideal from one of our members, sorry can't remember who it is to say thanks for the ideal.

It looks like everything is going good and the babies like their new homes. The clones look like they are going to make it as whille. Out of the 19 I took only one shrivled up on me, so I don't think that is so bad.
Now we just hoping that we get some females out of them.
I put the HPS bulb in today, going to change the timer monday to 12/12.
This is were we cross our fingers and hope for atleast a couple of females.
Here is some latest pic's
The first is a group pic.
The next one is what I call the unknown, because it is different then the others.
The next 2 are of the shortest (18 in) and tallest (28 In), there is still about anouther 24 inches of growth room left.
The last 1 is a close up of the top of the shortest one.
Hopefully within a week we should be able to tell who is who. If I remember correctly different strains flower at different times, hopefully it wouldn't take forever to flower.
Enjoy and thanks for the encouragement and words of wisdom to get me to this point, with y'all I would of had a harder time getting them to this point. Thank to one and all.

Rep Power: 30 | | Queastion on Odor control
Quick queastion,
Which is better a carbon filter or a Ozone Generator?
This is what I am looking at CAP OZN-JR Ozone Generator up to 1000 cubic ft. - Businesslights.com
I can put the in my cab and it will clean the air as it is being pulled out.
As for the carbon filter, I have done a bit of reading and I understand the building part of it. Just was wondering which is better pulling air thru or pushing air thru, which would/is better?

Hi Old. If you are dealing with odor, I'd go with the carbon filter. It doesn't matter if you push or pull with it as long as it has a prefilter in place.

Hi Zig and thanks for replying.
Quick queastion, what do you mean by prefilter? Looking at all the DIY on carbon filters, am not sure what you mean by prefilter.
Again thanks and peace.
I figured out what is meant be prefilter..

Rep Power: 30 | | Carbon Fliter and exhaust Fans
Another question that popped in my head.
I have 3 bathroom exhaust fans at the top of my box, total is 305 cfm..110, 110 and 85.
If I was to make a carbon filter that want across the intake of the fans(pulling air thru), how much would it reduce the cfm's?
Looking at maybe building a sliding screen that I an pull out to clean/replace carbon. The reason I am asking, is this way I don't have to get addtional duct work and fans to assist in this. Right now the fans are just exhausting out into the ceiling, between the drop ceiling and the basement ceiling and/or main floor depending on how you want to look at it. It is acrually heating the basement for us, it keeps it around 70-75. So far we haven't had to turn on the heat.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
peace

Rep Power: 30 | | Update on Odor control
Yesterday, well I was out getting the supplies needed to build a carbon filter I came across this at Home Depot: Gonzo Gonzo Home Odor Eliminator 2lb Bag
Cost 4 bucks, figured I'd give it a try. All I did was put 2 hooks in the ceiling of my box ( went with 2 bags..lol). Put them in yesterday, can't say for sure well they have worked because it is cleaning (surpose to be) the air in the box before it comes out. So with having the smell already in the house until that is under control won't know for sure. But I can say this, the smell has lessen as not being as strong.
Has anyone else seen or use these?
Peace
Correction..they cost 6 bucks each.

the decision is still out on how well they work. i just have the 2 bags hanging from the ceiling in between the exhaust fans. that is an idea to think about as far as pulling air thru them.

In my opinion there is no good substitute for a carbon filter and it should not be something you cost cut or bargain shop for. If you are going to spend money on one thing, this should be it. I know there are plenty of ways to make good, effective carbon filters, but I bought mine, guaranteed for two years, and the smell in the grow room and joining room was gone within fifteen minutes of turning the fan on. You should certainly use the carbon filter one way or the other, if you make it yourself cool, if you buy one, even better.

After trying the Gonzo Home Odor Eliminator, I have come to the conclusion that thay don't work as affectively as I was hoping. They are like a room deodorizer but with exhausting 300cfm from the grow area it can not handle it. I think they would be good for general purpose use through.
Am looking into a carbon filter set-up at the moment just can't figure out which way I want to go, DIY or buy one.

Today in the fifth day the babires was put into flowering. The sexes are just starting to show on a couple but not ready to call it yet. They have grown about 4-6 inches so far.
Transplanted the clones tonight and am sure it was something I did or didn't do. But only 10 out of the 19 survived and not even sure if all of those 10 will make it. Now if they do (crossing fingers and toes), I am hoping I guessed right on which was which and didn't clone any males.
I will get pic's in the next couple of days to let all see how they are doing and how badly my first attemp at cloning went.
Peace

Howdy All,
Here is the beginning of flowering week 2.
Between days 6 and 7 of week 1 all the babies showed sex and we have 5 out of 10 that are ladies. As for the other 5 my wife had no problem taking the shears to them in a hurry..
As a bonus and luck of the draw the ones we decided to clone was of the ones we was able to keep...
They have grown grown almost 10 inches within the first week, hopefully they won't out grow the area.
They range from 24 to 38 inches in height and they are looking nice to us.
As for the clones they are doing good from what I can tell, they sure are thirsty little babies.
Here are the updated pic's.
the first one of shortest to tallest and then a group pic.
I hope everyone enjoys
Peace

Sad news..
One of the ladies couldn't decide what she wanted to be.
So she decided to become both and ended up meeting the end of her fate.
Ended up taking out 3 of the clones to be on the safe side.
We are down to 4 ladies and 7 babies.

They look good. I like growing bag seed myself. I think I like the surprise. The last one I did indoors overgrew my box, and seem to flower forever. Trimmed them back a few times, and still had a great harvest. Nevertheless, have you made a carbon filter? They always worked pretty good for me and cheap.

Congratulations! What wonderful progress!
with hatch and jangel, allen & others you have the best info.
btw that cloner is the best...i've had store bought bubblers etc and still the ice cube tray is best. When putting clones in I even use a pencil to lightly tamp and then use a few drops of water to be sure there is good compaction and therefore good contact between the vermiculite and the stem.
good luck!!

oh yea,,secondly I purchased a uvonair ozone generator and they work great for mold and smell but the problem is they have to be very fine tuned to the area. I lost ALL the smell from a crop and probably some potency after too much ozone. crop was maybe half as good. I did try to be prudent and did use a timer with 30 min off intervals etc. since then i've read only a little but understand that they are touchy. Way too easy for too much ozone. Now I exhaust into another room (the other 1/2 my basement) and will use the neg. ion generator there. Never again in the bud room!!
hope this helps..............anybody else?

Was gonna give some input but after reading on looks like you got it all bro. I can just agree with all said. I also use Foxfarm and love it, but dont start out full strength. They have a nifty little feeding chart i got at hydro store and it is great. Your set-up looks fairly close to what i have, almost same closet and lights, and my ladies doin good. So looks like you got it goin on, happy growin.

Thanks for looking in and commenting..
It is always good to hear from others on how my garden is progressing, let's me know I haven't screwed up to badly...lol
Still working on the filter, have my design in my head and also the layout on how I want to run the duct work. Just haven't placed it all together yet. Looking at connecting the 3 exhaust fans into 1 piece of 4 inch duct, (may have to do some home made construction, don't like the Y shape. Looking at have 1 piece with 3 inlets at a 45% angle, haven't seen 1 around that looks like that)the attaching in the a 6 inch T section then a inline fan pulling everything thru it. Hopefully it will be over kill, because I would rather have to much then not enough.
Mine closest within a closest..lol...(couldn't resist), is 2x4x6 and with the square buckets I can get 10 ladies in there. How many can you get in yours? I think we have the same feeding chart and like you I am using half strength.
Again thanks all for taking a peek and offer words of encouragement.
peace
