Rep Power: 0 | | Update: I added a 1/4 strength solution of bloom booster to today's watering. I will update on the results tomarrow morning.
Also, I checked up on the outdoor plant and it's also a female! The odor from this plant is stronger then the indoor plants which was a surprise because I figured it had infinite space to exhaust odor but the scent is more then twice as potent and strong.
I would say the outdoor plant is equal in growth to Shorty but the outdoor plant stretched upwards a lot more so it's almost two feet tall now. I am going to consider super-cropping it soon just to keep suspicion away from it.
From what I have read I think that I should be harvesting outdoors around mid september? This is the sunlight hours for NY: Sunrise: 6:16am

If anyone is interested in seeing the article from HIGH TIMES about the stealth dresser idea I scanned it for you guys to check out. This guy did it much more in depth with gutting the dresser and whatnot but the dresser looked like crap to begin with. I think his money and effort plus my dresser would be a perfect setup.
Also I noticed this strain that they showed called "Grape Ade" with possibly the sickest bud I've ever seen in my life!!! I want to grow one like this and actually witness the foliage turn purple for my own eyes.

Rep Power: 0 | | Update: I got some photos of the outdoor plant taken early this morning. Lots of pistils coming from the top node and the smell is very strong. Plant stands approximately 16" and doesn't have too much inner growth. If inner growth doesn't pick up soon I would expect this plant to be just one huge cola.
Here are some shots of my outdoor
Pistils are starting to flourish
This is my first grow and I am 3 for 3 with females!! Not to mention all three started indoors and one was sent outside and still grew successfully which I am impressed because this is a first time doing anything related to growing plants whatsoever. I must of gotten really lucky. All the hard work and research has paid off and I cannot thank the members of this board and rollitup for the great advice and suggestions. =) BRING ON THE BUDS!!!

Looks very very nice! Good work! jonnyappleweed uses Miricle grow bloom booster and it has worked for him. Try and find his thread, he tells all about it.
Peace

I took a few pictures of the tops on Big Lady and Shorty. It is almost impossible to take a nice above shot while the plants are in the dresser and growing ridiculously. These pictures really don't do it justice and it's best in person with the nice aroma =) It's like a sweet honey smell thats really addicting I keep sniffing it! lol
Yummy.

Yea the bigger one seems like it has a lot more tops then Shorty but it's only an illusion created by shitty cameras it seems. Fortunately the smaller plant has almost as many tops but the fan leaves are so big that its impossible to get a full on shot.
I wish everyone could see them in person...
Guys I made a video of my grow and posted it in the ganja video section so check it out if you'd like. http://www.greenpassion.org/f54/dwc-...er-video-6695/ |

You still need a tiny bit of nitrogen during flower I really doubt it's supposed to be none plus that mix also has less phosphorus then the shultz so you're going backwards with that. You need a mix that has atleast 30% phosphorus if not more. Bloom booster works really good and everyone says it's fine so I don't know where you read that it wasn't.

Rep Power: 0 | | Update: Day 54 (Flowering Day 25) I untied the two females and let the plant take its form until it finishes. They look really cool in person they're like nice bushes with really strong stem growth.
Big Lady
Shorty
Some bud growth...not quite there yet but theres definately some nice looking nugs forming on the plant.
Outdoor (smells AWESOME)
Plus other good news is that I saved two of the haze-cross breed plants and created a simple veg box for them to sit in seperately. I also took a clone from Big Lady and put it in a 2 liter bottle setup and it's looking good.
Inside the veg box from the tiny door I made. It's two haze cross breeds and the big lady clone in the middle.
The stealth veg box (I brightened the image a bit to make it more visible)
Big Lady Clone w/Humidity Dome
Big Lady Clone w/o Dome
Haze X-Breed #1 I topped this plant to cause two main stalks to grow in hopes to have it become two huge colas one day. Notice how inner growth on lower nodes has begun already which is interesting.
Haze X-Breed #2 Other then a small case of yellowing on one of the bottom leaves I was surprised how well these plants survived with the grueling light changes and being moved around and put together into one pot and then separated again (don't ask). I managed to revive them with the veg box and now they are back on track. =)

Some more bud shots. I really need a good camera to show you guys what this plant REALLY looks like. This crappy 1.5mp cellphone camera seems to make it impossible to get a good well lit shot that's clear. There's also so many bud sites on this plant It's hard to single out a shot of just one of them. What you can't really see is that on the main stalk alone there is just an insane amount of bud sites at each node that are working their way up to connect to the one's above it. If I can get or borrow a nice camera I'll make sure I get some quality shots for you guys.

From the current point that I am at with my grow I felt that I should sort of explain my input on the experiment I am conducting with my grow. Basically I wanted to just grow some plants but I also wanted to see if even bag seed with low cost lighting in a simple setup could produce quality smoke.
I feel that CFLs and fluorescent lighting is the best way to go with a personal indoor grow especially one that needs to be stealth. It's easy to maintain and keep cool with a simple inlet & exhaust setup and I'd say two 23watt 6500K is enough for vegging one plant and then four 23watt 3000K for flowering one plant. If you keep that ratio it's effective enough for an inside grow and still supports two very big plants and can successfully sprout and flower an acceptable yield granted the space limitations and need for stealth.
Although I haven't finished the flowering stage I can see that the lighting can support the multiple amounts of tops and flower them all at a close rate. With this type of setup I definately recommend tying the inner shoots and spreading them out to increase inner growth and promote an open canopy. It forces the inner growth to extend outwards and then travel back up towards the top forming a "x-mas tree". This makes it so all of your new shoots are of the same height as the main cola so now all of the tops will produce a large flowering bud. I also tied down the entire plant during vegging to start up all of the inner growth that you see on my plant now. Pictures:
Now here are just a few of the flowering tops on Big Lady. There is around 20 tops on Big Lady alone and all have developed bud sites. There is a great amount of tops that are equal in size to the main cola.
One thing I found interesting is that when I transplanted these plants into their current final pots I made the medium level raised above which covered two mini branches that were barely existent and somehow they managed to grow through the medium and out into the atmosphere to produce a top. I actually looked really closely to see if the top was flowering also which would of been awesome but I don't think so. I'm surprised it made it that far. Here it is.

Hey guys just a quick update on what I'm up to. If anyone is interested in rap/hip-hop I am in the process of developing a website for some songs that I've produced including something new that I am currently in the middle of making right now and it's probably one of the craziest songs I've done. It's more of a 'think-speak' genre of hip hop rather then the current popular type of rap music. If you listen to Tech N9ne, Jedi Mind Tricks, Sweatshop Union, Canibus, Styles of Beyond, or any of those sort of groups then I think you would enjoy the kind of music I do. I really think you guys would be impressed and I hope there's some people out there that still appreciate music as much as I do.
I'll keep posted about it as soon as I'm finished.

Took a few shots of the plants in flower and an update on how fast the haze plants are growing now. The topped plant has formed two tops and it looks really cool I'm surprised how fast it formed. The only thing I don't like about this dresser setup is that I can't take the plants out to get a nice shot of them to really show each plant in their entirety plus the fact that my camera sucks and I can't get closeups on the buds to show some crystals. Hopefully my next grow will be higher quality pictures.
I decided to start uploading photos with the "Attach Files" option because nobody can seem to zoom in on pictures that I've linked. So this is easier.

| Hey four two zero,
If you get a magnifying glass to increase detail you can take shots through the glass (focus on the glass, not the plant) and get better shots with more detail.

Later,
4kaan4 | Yea that's a good idea and I do plan on getting either a microscope or a mag lens at some point before harvest so I can keep an eye on the trichromes.
It may or may not help with getting close-ups just because of the quality of the camera to begin with but I'll see what I can do. Unfortunately I won't be able to get nice overall shots of the entire plant until I'm ready to harvest because they are pretty much confined to the dresser. So the result is all my shots being blocked by either a CFL or some other obstacle.
The buds look delicious to say the least and there are three different aromas that the plant gives off which is interesting. Smelling the air coming from the exhaust gives off a sweet honey scent with a fruity aftertaste while sniffing directly into the bud sites adds a very alluring pine tree scent to the mixture. The aroma is very strong and I have a very confident belief that this crop will be nice and potent. The formation seems to be very elongated buds with a nice girth to them and a very sticky texture. Lots of lime green and dark green colors within the bud sites.
I'm predicting that these girls will be done within 3-4 weeks if everything stays on track. Using the knowledge that I've gained from this website as well as all of my research and witnessing previous grows similar to mine I am strongly convinced that I will hit a quarter pound yield with these two girls combined if they keep up this good work. I will be here updating every step of the way in hopes that when harvest day comes I will be able to honor that yield for all to see. I really support CFL grows to the fullest and hopefully someone who was originally turned off to growing due to cost, heat, and space limits will find inspiration to start their own grow.
Thank you to everyone at Greenpassion for all the information and advice as well as the motivation to take on this challenge. This is why the internet is such a great thing because it allows us to reach out and get help with anything and everything under the sun. Two months ago I didn't know ANYTHING about growing and sure as hell didn't have the confidence to successfully make it this far into the life cycle. But with a site like this with such a strong community I was able to learn everything I need to know in order to get a plant through it's life on top of special techniques and tricks along the way in such a short amount of time. Now I find myself helping others to continue this endless cycle of knowledge. That's the beauty of it, once someone on here learns enough they become a mentor to someone who was in our position before us and it keeps the knowledge circulating until anyone in the world can pick up this info and learn to grow in no time.
Thanks guys...and to those who I bored the hell out of with my plethora of pictures and blabbering I apologize. Passion sparks interest ;)
