Rep Power: 51 | | Camping, Anyone? ...2.2K in 3 tents
Hey there all, I'm that guy! I've been around a few forums for the last 1 1/2 yrs now, and have been growing ID for a little longer than that.
I've been invited to this wonderful looking place by my good friend, justanotherbozo. Any site smart enough to ask him to be a mod is somewhere I want to call a home away from home!
A little backstory:
I started with a 400W compact MH system, and quickly outgrew that. By the time I moved out of that home, I had 2 400's and a 250 (all digi Lumatek ballasts, HPS of course) in flower, and another 250 MH along with a 125W CFL and 2 4 bulb 4 ft T5's for veg.
Here at my new place, I've inherited a 4x4 tent along with a 1K digi ballast . So I purchased a 2x4 tent for the 2 400's, and a clonebox for what I hoped would be the 2 250's and the 2 T5's on 2 different levels.
Well, that didn't work out, the temps were just too much to handle. So I took the HID's out, and now just have the 2 T5's for veg lighting. I plan on adding 4 more bulbs, 2 on each level.
I lost most of my moms during the move, a combination of spider mites, root rot (from being put in the dark for over a week), overfeeding (once again from puttin 'em in the dark, should have flushed them 1st), and lastly the miticide I used immediately after putting them under the lights.
Thankfully I gave a good friend almost all of my genetics, and my good friends justanotherbozo and inpotitrust have the good ones, too
I also have some plants outdoors that can be cloned from as well as some reveggs to do in a few weeks after my next crop comes down. SO they will all be back in my stable soon enough!
They are:
Strawberry Cough
Super Skunk
Roadkill Skunk
Sensi Star x SK#1 (2 phenos)
Skunk Chunk (Sensi SK#1 x HTC Deep Chunk)
Lemon Godzilla (Godbud x Legends Ultimate Indica- by BreederBrad) (2 phenos)
Dirty Harry
Kerosene Kush (HKxWW)
GDP x Legends Ultimate Indica
So anyhow, here are some pics!
The big tent, as of the 19th, which was 18 days in. It has Super Skunk, Lemon Godzilla, Sensi Star x SK#1, and GDPxLUI.
Super Skunk
Lemon Godzilla
And the small tent, 2 days in. There are 4 HUGE (vegged wayyyy too long, just trimmed the undergrowth earlier today) Super Skunks in there, as well as a Lemon Godzilla, a GDPxLUI, and 2 plants in 1 pot that the roots from the rapid rooters I used grew into each other! Had to plant 'em in the same pot, there were like 4 roots going right outta 1 rooter and into the other!
Anyhow, the big SS plants.
Apparently I didn't upload any pics of the other plants in there. I'll get around to it soon enough.
And finally the clonebox. The temp and RH you see was just after I plugged the lights in. After an hr, the temp was 107F, andthe RH was 13%! And so needless to say, the tent needed some work before it was usable.
The 2 flowering tents are vented by an 8 inch, 592 CFM fan pulled through a 400CFM filter in the 4x4 tent, and a 200CFM filter in the 2x4. They're connected through a 8 inch Y, with a 6 inch reducer to the 200 CFM filter. The clonebox is cooled by a 6 inch, 400 CFM fan (which is perfect with the T5's ).The 400's are aircooled, and the temp in there is almost 8 degrees less than the 4x4 tent, where the light is actually a greenhouse-stlye compact digital ballast with hood attached :( But beggars can't be choosy!
If you've actually made it this far after all my verbosity, I welcome you to my indoor thread! May you enjoy your time in here, and help me learn a thing or 2 while I also try to teach some of what I've learned!
All the best,
TG

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments!!!
I can't even begin to explain how thrilled I am at how my girls are looking, anyone who knows me knows this is the best looking crop I've had yet by far, and I'm psyched!
Hell yeah, bozo, I'll give you a heads-up fo sho! I'm itchin to get that GDP, Kalichakra, and the High End ( you're right, IPiT, I do want that strain bad!)! When I come through I'm gonna drag my boy H.L.O. down there with me, he's the one I was tellin y'all about that I gave my genetics to. He's a great guy, and he'll make a great addition to our little trio!
IPiT, I'm in this one for the long haul, bro! I'll be updating this regularly, as a matter of fact I'm due to take some pics tomorrow!
All the best,
TG

And the smaller flowering tent.
These are some super skunks, 4 of em. They are ridiculously bushy, check out under the canopy!!!
A couple of times I've looked through the intake vents, and had to open the tent to make sure both lights were actually on!!!
Lemon Godzilla
The LG and GDPxLUI that grew together.
And I got the clonebox dialed in now. Took the 250's outta there, and have a T5 on each level. I'm gonna put 2 more bulbs on each level for a total of 6 per level and about 3750 lumens per sq ft.
I now also have 2 phenos of Trainwreck and Great White Shark added to the list of strains Took 50 more cuts as well, to get things ready for my next crop, and some more to put OD, since I hate throwing cuts away (even when I'm just haircutting a mom)!
All the best,
TG

everything is lookin uber tasty my friend, very nice!
btw, you don't need to add any light to your cloning op, those T5's
are plenty good enough for what you're using them for!
sheit, i'm getting more growth than i can use with just 96 watts of T5, lol.
i know your op is way bigger than mine but still, i think what you got will
be more than sufficient.

Well, bozo, only reason I want more light is because I'm going to have vegging plants on the same level as my clones. And I'm looking for as tight internodal growth as possible, I feel it helps put more bud on a shorter plant.
Thanks zigzagman!
All the best,
TG

Well, man, you'll get 'em on Sunday, I do believe. I'm heading away for the day tomorrow, and haven't gotten around to it yet.
I'm pissed, had to chop off roughly 1/2 oz because of botrytis! Added a new circulation fan, I think it's the high humidity at nighttime :(
All the best,
TG
