another one bites the dust...
so to harvest we go. Bubblelicious fell just the other day, 40 days into flowering.very early, 2 weeks before it was due.but it was time for it to go as both trichs and pistils called for the end. AK was taken today, a day or two too early but there was a need to finish it now.sometimes it happen.am tired, I think, I plan on a short break now.but still...searching for the next seeds to grow tell you guys, I wished I had more time and space to go totaly outdoor and natural.I think that the whole adventure begines there. I'd like to see that plant growing with all the best nature has to offer.I envy all of you, outdoor growers! for time being some of the pix of the plants that are no more cheers!

Beautiful Raf! I cut a couple colas last night, they looked tired and done, but they were just small underneath ones. Still clear and cloudy trichs with only a bit of amber. The 14th is 8 weeks in flower so I know it is not long. I look almost every night now. LOL!

thank you very much Jangel. ladies are down and drying.I made bubble hash yesterday night and it went good too.I got 2,5g of hash from the first wash (I used 4 bags only - 25,42,192,220 - as the amount of trim I had was only around 100g there was no point of using 7 bags). Last time I used bubble bags I used only 3 of them -25,42,220 hoping to gather more of crystals on the 42 bag. that actually happened but "hash" was too contaminated to smoke it to be honest, not nice at all.So that time I added 192 bag and managed to get decent results of 22 and 42 bag.the second wash was not much worse, around 1,5g and the 3rd one gave maybe 0.5g but was too contaminated to keep so got smoked on the place I let that newly made hash to settle and "breathe" for several hours and then wrap it up in a greaseproof foil and press it with iron set on the lowest temp.
I earlier posted bout my journey to the west to take part in a story telling festival.am not a fanatic of festivals, meetins and gatherings at all.I think I don't have much trust in meeting other people, hehehe...my god and I went for story telling festival!! there's always a few good people there who must tell their stories anyway but here opportunity was coming all way through.the festival was a place of contrasts. there were folks who "had to tell something" for the pure sake of being noticed and proffesional words' magicians.a little island away from daily race and around 50 newcomers, visitors trying to contain themselves in that limited space thre was.and the sky that was in contrast with everything. been a while since av seen night sky like that one. as for the stories...I liked them all a lot but what I liked even more was that they made people come together to share a spoken word of common wisdom.people talk a lot those days but not much of what they say has any meaning at all.not mentioning tv, press and the rest of the gang.so it was nice to experience something different and meaningfull for a while.I lacked only a huge bonfire on cliffs in the night but I suppose it was health and safety regulations that prevailed
so to the world of stories you go through the whole in the stone...enjoy

hi Tokecrazy, thanks a lot yes, you're spot on, should have been waited that bit longer and even wanted to keep them...but I never know 100% sure when they are ready to be honest.sometimes pistils turn brown 2 weeks before they're due, new flowers are not grown, water is not taken for 2-3 days and I don't know if I should wait or take them down.especially with topped plants.
that pictures are of AK.that blueish one was topped and gave 2 nice and solid top colas and a bunch of nice size branches.the second one, grown as tree was very thick with strong top cola but not overwhelming in size and with relatively small branches. the yield was medium in size and tell you how much as soon as it's dried.buds were rather long than dense.branches were thin despite strong main stem and didn't seem to be built to carry big colas. flowers were rather small in size and looked fragile comapred to typical indica fat buds.as for the smoke I can't tell yet but hopefuly soon....cheers!

Beautiful looking buds!!! Very nice colors and the plant looks so uniform. With the lighting it just makes it look so healthy and perfect.

I'd love to know how they smell because I'm betting those give off an awesome aroma. I noticed that plants grown outdoors are like ten times as potent and ten times as smelly! My outdoor smells like someone cracked open a zip of some stinky potent bud. Tis' a good thing though.

I wish I could grow all my plants outdoors but I'm not even supposed to be growing the first one out there. Plus I find that my indoors are easier to take care of. Did you move the plants outside for pics or is that just an illusion? It looks like outside...

good luck man...keep the pictures coming. you have a really nice camera too it really compliments the buds. I commend your hard work and effort in creating this awesome nugget.

Peace!

Thanks a lot Four Two Zero. The smell was quite intense but very rich, fruity, very sweet and deep with hints of forest.I suppose it may not smell like cannabis to somebody less informed but still you couldn't have missed it.I took plants outdoor for pictures only. Unfortunately outdoor grow is beyond my reach as I live nearly in the middle of the town. The same as you bro, shouldn't even have that one I had.But truly believe I"ll go out full time one day. you can't compare that to anything else.real sun, rain, wind...and you don't have to contain that mighty plant in a small space. 2-3m high plant? why not, let it grow.As for the pictures I use Kodak P850 learning, to be honest, how to operate the light so quite a bit of my pix is sometimes too bright or too dark. I absolutely love taking pictures in the night with very limited light.but digital cameras are not the best here as they give "sandy" pictures and darkness is never really dark.and that's not the easiest type of pictures to be taken as well. but to the point, all post some new pix of the harvest when am done with it.I mean, I need to have a few days break from my cabinet where ladies are drying cos am afraid I'd smoke them all at one shot ... 3 months break,hehehe....so you know...let's give'em a chance to get ready but...before the right time comes here you have some pictures from my affair with Amsterdam cheers!
