very nice female growth....

My current strain only grows about 8 inches in height when put in 12/12.

I like the idea of those huge colas you have going on.

Jangel...I'm under constant impression of your ladies, heh, that is something am actually heading for a jungle of green but not with space I've got to my use am afraid. I'd like to ask you a question if you have a while as I don't know what am doing wrong.I've noticed that plants I top get matured much faster than plants left untouched.I can't keep them the whole length of flowering time.the older the plant before turning to 12/12 the faster it matures.it doesn't depend on the number of branches I left after topping.
so the question is, is it something normal or I do sth wrong? I'd be grateful for your opinion, thx
Raf, I am sooo sorry I did not see this before today. I think 4kaan4 answered the question well, and most likely better than I could. One thing, I have not topped the plants I am flowering now. I put off flowering until my outside plants where all cloned, and established. I planted these guys in feb-mar-april so thye are mature. I did not top at all, just LST'd them. I beleive sexed clones flower fast, so if they are clones, that could be a reason. I think it is due to the plant already being mature when they are cloned. Not sure why, but they do. Hope that helps you my friend.

Peace.

Jangel, thank you very much and don't worry I can wait we all can I suppose as what my garden teaches me is patience.lot's of things take time.we can't speed them up and we should not try. yes, av read you used LST and the more am impressed with what you've achieved. topping helps very much in limited conditions and some of the strains I tried (Mazar,Blueberry) gave more after topping but still I find it quite oppresive for plant topping's usefullnes is also limited by plant's phenotype. I find it difficult to recognise plant's pheno during the grow so I ofthen end up with one or two sativa pheno in the middle of my little space shadowing two or three indica ones. You can avoid it with LST I suppose as whatever the plant's size it's worked around to get the most of light everywhere. and you don't decapitate your good makers I hope to try that way in future grows.
so Jangel, thank you very much as I said
eyemthatguy, thanks, I like starting flow early as it gives 10-14 days of intense branching when you can correct pruning and adjust the plant better to the screen if you grow SCRoG.if I top plants it's usually above the 4th or 5th leaf and with early flowering it helps to concentrate plant's enegry on 8-10 strong branches.I cut off the branches that didn't make it to the screen a week after first flowers turn up. I end up usually with 7-8 branches per plant and 5 plant under the screen. as for colas...well, I expected slightly more that time I must say.I see pistils turning from white to honey like and I know the time is short so not much to hope for am afraid. but, still....lovelythx

Here is one of my plants LST'd and coming out the side with the chains on it is the main cola. I am just freaking, I just took it! The bud starts at where the branch comes out of the pot, you can see the side of the pail and then it is all bud. Must be bloody 20 in long. This is what i mean about the main cola getting biggest. I have buds also starting from the very bottom branch, and it is as tall as the main cola and flowering almost just as thick. Hope you don't mind me posting this here, I am pumped, will put it in mine in a day or so.

Peace

Really nice Raf! beautiful! Some of mine look to be browning up. Should I start checking them now? It hasn't been 8 weeks, maybe I have the same thing you do, they are ripening faster? They where put to flower July 27th.

Peace
