| Yep, all 6 strains are in my next grow! I'll try and keep this to a min. of 50 pages...(let's face it, I "talk" too much and I (as my wife says) eat-sleep and drink growing these critters and better yet I am back to being healthy thanks to it!)...but questions and comments are WELCOME and requested when you see something I could do better, or different. 2 ea. C-99 1 in soil, another in DWC 4 ea. NFO (Newfoundland Orange) 2 in DWC and 2 in soil (2 of those are soil plants are still in the nursery) 2 ea. Sweet Willie - 1 soil and 1 DWC 1 ea. BlackBerry in soil 1 ea. Blueberry in soil 1 ea. Purple Haze in soil The 2 berries and the Purple are clones about 3 weeks in soil, the other soil plants are out of the cloner less than a week. The DWC plants were cloned by me, and rooting well now that they are settled in. 2 were started in the DWC on Sat. (10/13) and 2 yesterday (10/16). I'll get some root pics nect time out...My GOD this is amazing how the roots grow so fast! DWC's are running 200 PPM (for the freshest ones) and 360 for the one3s in there since Sat. Ph in both totes is 5.7 and quite steady. I am using Aqua Vega (Canna) nutes on the DWC, and I'll be using Plant Marvel GP+ for vegging the others. Gotta go take some pics for Y'all. Damn...this is definately as much fun as a human can have with their pants still on! :halloween2: ISO

| Thought I best catch this up with some pics...some things are just hard to describe...:mummy: Thumbnails below are the Soil and DWC grows. The soil plants were transplanted into 4 gal pots (I hate transplanting so they go to the big pot out of the cloner, and some of these came to me in small pots). The Blackberry and Blueberry have come out of the shock and are thriving, the Purple Haze seems to be lagging, but I've been told by the breeder that it is a slow grower and to be patient. I smoked some Purp Haze tonight for the first time...OhsweetmotherofJesus! Ya..HELL YEAH...I can wait... (after this I'm damn near scared to try this Blackberry...but I'll get over it.. )The hydro plants are going ganbusters! Ph is running 5.6 and constant in both bins, and nutes are at 320 and 210, with (based on the soil grows) the strains that can really suck up the nutes and not burn are in the higher concentrated tank...still, that is about 1/3 - 1/2 of the normal range, and they seem to be rooting like crazy. Is it bad to expose the roots to a camera flash? Thought about that today as I recall the roots should not see any more light than necessary. I haven't taken the pics yet and wanted to check into that first. Expecting our first NASTY storm here tomorrow...going to have to batten down the hatches and all that..and hope like hell the power stays on! (these ballasts (especially digital) should not be run on a 6500W generator (or any) without proper filtering of the power between the gen and the ballast. Ballasts like clean, steady power. Enjoy and let me know if'n I'm messing anythiing up or missing stuff...these are the strains I plan to be working with the next couple years to narrow down and develop the best med I can for my illness. Damn, it's gonna be a fun job developing that ultimate MMM strain (Medical Mj 4 Meniere's) ISO

| BTW, some folks were asking about this Blackberry, and apparently I got fed a "line" (yep, hook, line and sinker!) as I was told this was a private strain... Well...http://www.vancouverseedbank.ca/cata...roducts_id=384 So, seeds for the Blackberry are available just North of the USA.. Taking some root pics today...hopefully they will come out good! ISO

| Took some pics of the roots today..was able to hold them up for just a second and get a good pic without flash. These plants had four to five 1/4" roots ea. when I started them in the DWC last Sat. (10/13). Simply amazing to watch them grow these roots! The C-99 is struggling a bit, shape is healthy but the color is waaayyy light. This strain came from a breeders clone and was used to a high nitrogen diet. I think I'll kick the nutes up a bit on the water change come Sat. I learned this on my soil grow, the ones in flower now didn't green up till I hit them with a good dose of nitrogen from a fish fert I had (5-1-1) on top of the FF nutes. ISO

| Here's some update pics. The DWC plants are stable as hell now, and today I changed the solution in one bucket, added another bin and will replance the nutes in bucket 3 tomorrow. Makes ya proud to see your clones take root...then take off and run! Root growth has been tremendous, and not at all difficult to manage the Ph and PPM now that I've figured out how it all fits together. I'm running the PPM a bit hotter on BIN 2, as the C-99 seems to be a real nute hog, and was pale in my last soil grow because I couldn't identify the culprit till late. (those flowering are now on a steady diet of a high nitrogen + flowering stuff nute, and finally showing some bud growth) That bin is at 520 PPM now, and the plant seems to be responding a bit. I'll know more tomorrow. Bin 1 is the last 2 clones I had taken on 17 days ago. First time cutting clones, and all 8 of the ones I cut survived...better than I had expected. Soil plants are doing well, save the C-99 and Power Plant. I found out tonight that what I had been told I was getting was a Purple Haze, but it turned out to be this other strain. Since I've never seen the strain I had no idea what it should look like...well, he was confused too, and passed along today the info he got from the breeder. All I know of this strain is that it kicks ass in the "pleasant effect" Dept.! I don't give a damn what they call it, so long as it does it's job.. ![]() The Blueberry and Blackberry are both in high gear. Both have gained an inch-per-day for the last 4 days, and are now at 11.5" tall. I am having to keep the fixture a bit higher as the DWC plants (some) are just out of the cloner...light distance from them is about 4', so at the moment they are getting stretched a bit...hope to start dropping the light closer in a day or so, and get them to start vegging horizontally:zombie: Also tossed in the obligatory shot of the flower room...God I love the smell of that place! ISO

| Nice babies ISO2Bwell. Keep up the pics. Great shot of the roots. I am really interested in which of the plants need more nutes. It would like to get an Idea of what phenotypes will require more nutes. | ||||||||

Pics? Lots of pics if folks want to see 'em. My biggest (DWC) challenge is with the C-99, trying to find that level where it greens up and starts growing like it should. My buddy uses a 20-20-20 fert (which I am changing to). Apparently, the C-99 likes lots of Nitrogen, so in the DWC I am trying to run it a bit hotter on the nutes and see if that greens it up and gets it in high gear. My soil C-99 isn't doing much better, as the mother these 2 clones came from was pale herself...hopefully these 2 will make it. The other plant that is a challenge right now is that "Power Plant". I did some Googling last night and found that it is a high-powered Sativa! Hot Damn...I seem to have the Sativa base covered well with the C-99 and now this strain. Can't wait for these kids to grow up!! ISO

| Wow 20-20-20. I would be afraid that my plants would go up in a puff of smoke if added that much nutes. I know though that some people starve the mother before taking clones. I like to. It seems to promote rooting. | ||||||||

| This has been an interesting last few days. Since starting my first DWC grows, along with 5 in soil it's been exciting to watch all the changes they go through. The DWC plants are doing well, overall. I did have to destroy 2 plants, and they were the last ones out of the clone box and never did root right...but I tried. All the others (6) made it fine, and are now settled into their perm. homes and growing away...some fast, some slow. Biggest challenge is the Cindarella 99. I'm not sure if the genetics weren't so good, or the plants I took the clones from just weren't too healthy (likely the latter). The DWC C-99 is finally starting to thrive a bit, as I had it in a tub that was too high on the nutes (500 ppm), so, when I removed the other plants (2 NFO's) I swapped this lid over to that bin, which was running at 300 PPM, much more appropriate for these young plants. Their next bin will be stable at about 250-275 when they move in, giving them a chance to stabilize and do some good vegging before I increase the nutes. ![]() The other C-99 is in soil, and after these few days is beginning to show some new growth along the stem, and a fresh top. Looks like it will make it, and I hope to do better with it than my last C-99 in soil (which is currently in flower). ![]() Also in soil are the Blueberry and Blackberry. Damn these kids are growing fast! Last 3 days they have grown an inch per day, or more. The Blueberry is approaching 14" now (compare to the pic 6 days ago in above post). ![]() The Blackberry is keeping up with her berry-sister just fine! ![]() Next is a Sweet Willie clone...doing very well (this strain is damn near impossible to kill, so it's a good one for me!) ![]() Last of the soil plants is the one they seem to call "Power Plant"..which I find awfully common sounding and PC, so, I renamed it (like any good redneck!) and it is now dubbed Ass Whoop! (cause it does!!) ![]() Following are the other Willie and two THRIVING NFO's in DWC. ![]() ![]() ![]() I have not used any nutrients on the soil plants at all, save a drop or 2 of Superthrive in the water. I'll be using the Plant Marvel nutes for this grow, kinda "hot" on the NPK chart, but they do one hellofa job. Odds are I'll dilute them well to reduce any chance of burning them with it. ISO
