its best to pot up 2 weeks befor flower bro or you will loose flower time as the plant needs to fill out that pot .

i do this when i need to controll the strech period and works quite well .

fem seeds suck dont get em imho
i work very closely with breeders and training to be one myself also and we all agree that fem seeds are bad for a NEW grower !!

preflowers are the very first signs of sex on a mature plant. At approximately 4 weeks of vegetative growth, or when plant reaches sexual maturity you will see preflowers. Check the FAQ under preflowers to know what each sex's part looks like.

I have to disagree I'm a new grower and they are just fine with me. I would imagine fem seeds to be better for a NEW grower as the worry about hermies and males isn't there and they can familiarize themselves with what a female looks like. IMHO

Usually a plant will hermie if it is a female subjected to undo stress, such as droughts, eratic light cycles, and lack of nutes, causing the plant to rush to make seeds without a male nearby. Some strains are just more prone to it genetically than others. I had a strain of bagseed a year or so ago that would hermie no matter how much you babied it. Finally I just threw those seeds away. If you just give them a consistent environment then hermies shouldn't be a worry.

Some people do less transplants than other, but its best to propagate your plant in something small first, then move it to something slightly larger, or even right into its eventual final resting pot. but at least start off with a small container.
