Don't you have a strain that shows preflowers so you can see the sex while still in veg?

Welcome to GP. You should introduce yourself in the introduce yourself section.

As for your questions. I would ditch the MG soil, you dont want time released nutes. As for sexing its kinda touchy kinda a to each his own. The FAQ says to throw them into 12/12, but members say not to to just take a clone and throw it into 12/12. Its kinda whatever works for you. I use fem. seeds so I dont worry about males.

Good luck and welcome to GP feel free to ask any questions and we love pics..lol

i wouldnt switch them back to veg, rather just pick out any males after you sex, and just continue flowering. they look good right now, keep it up. And why dont you go indroduce yourself.

Hey da big cheese is here! Welcome aboard dude.

A few points for ya, MG soil with time release nutes is bad for growing pot in, it's impossible to regulate the nutes. Since you started with it though, finish this grow with it, dont switch.

Getting a 600 watt hps light is a great idea, right now your using over 400 watts, and putting out half the lumens of a 400 watt hps light.

You need to read some more about transplanting, in my opinion those grow pots are way too big for the plants age. When you transplant, you want to make gradual steps in grow pot size.

I've never gotten a hermie from using femenized seeds.

One of our sponsor's, hidhut has a nice 600 watt light, with a cool tube, found here.
Add a can-fan, and you'll have a decent air cooled light.

Most indicas will double in size during flowering, a sativa can triple in size.
Peace

They are too small to grow in to harvest, but too big for now. Some people dont like to transplant and just repot from the gate, as with everything theres ways, opinions, and differences in ways to do things. Some work there way up to larger pots. I guess it comes down to a matter of circumstance, if you can repot gradually do it that way if not then do what you can. I actually repot slowly but recently in one of my grow videos noticed they went right into 5 gal pots to reduce stress, but when I passed on that tid bit of info the consensus here at GP is to repot gradually. So I guess its a to each his own. Not everyone has different size pots. You will probably need to repot again if there only 1 gal pots.
