Dude, this actually works in an apt building. I have people under, to the side, and over me. No worries at all so far, nd although there is some smell in the actual growroom, it gets exhausted into another room, prior to going thru a hidden charcoal cannon, and there is no smell at all left by the time it gets to the next room.

Just to be safe, I keep an odor neutralizing machine in my kitchen tucked behind my garbage can. Better safe than sorry.

If a neighbor has a fire or such,your done...(I had this guy that insisted on using a turkey fryer on his porch under me,in a wood structure bldg)I got the hell out of there...

I have done 7 grows in a condo... the power is included, I run a 1000 watter, 2 humitifers, 3 fans and 2 huge carbon filters ($800.00 each with fans). I have air conditioning which is a must. I also keep a pot of curried-onion-garlic crap brewing. I have had some close calls with widow washers ect.
The only thing I hate is when vegging the f-en 1000watter comes buzzing on at 5am... but when there finishing the smell beside my bed is intoxicating.

A friction wall is built in a existing house usually for remod purposesand temporary. I use the foam you put under a bottom plate that goes on your foundation wall (to keep out termites, at lumber yards usually blue 6" wide in rolls). Piece of that on the ceiling, top and bottom plate, studs cut to (ceiling to floor) + 1/4" - 3". Force the studs in at 2' on center, screw studs to plates, use wood shims to add friction to the wall, then sheet with drywall or whatever, frame in doors, etc...
