Dude, this is my 1st time growing the church, my feeling was, 10 femenized seeds for $50 bucks wasnt a bad deal at all, and the description was suitable. Being mold resistant wont hurt either.
Peace

Here are some pics, the babies are about a week old now.

Hey WT, in my last post, in the first pic, look in the lower corner, you'll see the bolts, with large washers attached, all lined up and ready to go.

We tried it without, and as you already said, they rip right out, but with the washers, your golden.
Peace

well how far out is this now video, and i almost missed it, a vertical grow that is soil based, i'm freaking out video! seems like your ingenuity is back to peak performance my friend

what about the feeding of them and the excess water, all manual or are you still hiding some space age feeding system from us?

Oh man, you don't how this fires up my ideas to modify my grow in similar style! home hardware here i come

I am sure you know this vid, but if you figure out how much each takes in water and add just that amount, having that extra pot under will aid in them absorbing the water. I know my clones in certain size pots take one quart of water, not 1.2 or 1/2 but 1 guart. so when they are watered when they get that much, all done.

hey vid how big are you going to let them grow? With the weight of the plant and soil with it brake the plastic pot?

I am not sure yet, how long I'll veg for, but I'd like to see 12" before I go to flower. This way at harvest, they should be about 28"

You see, the setup is 6' across, the lights in the middle of that 6', that leaves me about 30" on height to grow a plant, or atleast thats how I figured it.

This leaves a safe distance of about 12" from the canopy to the light. Actually with the cool tubes, the 12" is more than enough.

It shouldn't break the growpots. While I've never grown this way before, I have seen it done, and the washers should do the trick. We did do some testing as we built it, and it did hold the weight when I tested it.
Peace

Greetings people,
Update time, I am still vegging, but I've started transplanting the babies into there new home, 2 gallon grow pots.

It was quite the operation needing a vessel large enough for me to mix my soil and nute in, all I could find that would be useful was my bathtub, and even that took two tubfulls to do the job. I'm on break now while we go get some more soil to mix, and I thought I'd do an update with pictures for you all to see.

I've found that watering is easy using a turkey baster.
In the 3rd pic you'll see my 6' monster, its still vegging too.
The last pic shows the plants I still need to transplant.
