|  this may be a little strong, but i just want to see what the plant will tolerate, as this is a learning grow for me....next time around i will do it based off my mistakes from this time, with probably 4 plants....but for now its just an experiment.... i will add the hydroton after i write this report  [/quote]No I think it will alright at the tds.just watch the ph and with the GL nutr it will drift up,dont get to worried till it starts to go pass 6.4.By that time it should be time to change the res.My res has stayed at 5.6 almost a week now.Your doing great. | Day 8 Everything I have read has said not to worry to much, but I must admit I am starting to worry. Not a huge amount, but a slight bit. The brown spots, getting bigger and bigger make me worry a bit. What yall think? | ||||||||

| TOT: Wow...she's not looking to happy, huh? I've never grown in a drip system like that TOT, or I might have better advice, but lacking any other remedy here is what I would do given the looks of the plant. I would take it out of the hydro set-up, and plant her butt in some nice soil, and let her grow up. At this stage of life there is not a lot of "emergency" medicine (that I am aware of) that can help. I just don't know that type of system well enough to offer much better. Lacking any other options, I would put her in soil asap, and let her root naturally. NO nutrients, just plant Ph'd water with a drop of Superthrive or other healthy vitamin additive. Wish I had more info to help...  ISO

| She is still growing decent, as you will see in tonight's picture/s . The newest leaves are alot better looking than the older set, and are now of the same size. Seeing as how this is a test, I guess I will just see how it all turns out, without changing anything. BUT I will go ahead and start germ'ing somemore seeds just incase it takes a turn for the worst.... Thanks for your prompt reply ISO AcE | ||||||||

| You know what theone, I would take off those really sick leaves. That costs a plant a lot of energy to keep trying to repair gone tissue. Hydro or dirt. The other leaves don't look as bad, but do look a bit like nute burn. In my opinion. I don't know for sure. Just my humble opinion. Wait and see what toke says. Peace
