***600w Northern Lights, 1st Journal, 2nd Grow***

Whats up everyone!!! ive been posting here for awhile, and still havent done a grow journal yet from scratch, I have all the pics from my last grow from start to finish, but i thought it would be more fun to do a journal on what I have growin right now
Anyways Im a dwc fanatic and thats what ill be using... I wish I had time to put together a recirculating dwc system, but i didnt have time and ill have to save that until next time...

well heres what im workin with

-Digital Camera
-10pack of Joey Weeds Northern Lights from Hempdepot.
-Grodan Rockwool 1 1/2 inch cubes.
-Black buckets, along with 5 6 inch netpot lids.
-Grow Tent from HTGsupply, 48"x48"
-600watt Lumatek Ballast
-6 inch cootube
-6 inch Vortex Fan (449 cfm)
-Dehumidifier
-PLENTY OF LOVE

Nutes: keepin it simple
-3 part Flora series from General Hydroponics
-Botonicaire's Liquid Karma and Cal-Mag plus

and I will be using R/O water...

ummm.... I think that pretty much covers it all...now onto the Journal

DAY 8:
im pissed because only 2 out of the 10 seeds took .... the others sprouted but either didnt have any leaves or they were red leaves.... weird.... anyways ill cope.... ive just germintated 2 other seeds that ive collected from good bud... even though they'll be a couple weeks behind, im still goin to put them into flowering with the Northern Lights, ill just try really hard with milk crates and stuff to keep things level....

Man, that really sucks about those other seeds. I wonder what could cause that? I'm looking forward to this a lot, hopefully everything else works out for ya.

i would email them with how you germed them and tell them you got 2 out of 10 cus thats b.s and they will most likely do something for you.

2 months ago I ordered a 10 pack of Joey Weeds Northern Lights. I
germinated all 10 and put them in rockwool. they all sprouted but 8 of
them had either no or brownish red leaves. I expected more from my
first purchase of quality seeds, prior to this I have been using
local seeds, and I have never ran into this problem.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate those 2 survivors, but like I said
before my expectations were higher.

If you can do something about this that would be great! and
you would get plenty of rep in the forum community, if not, then just
take this message as a heads up.***

thanks shaman.... my flowering room stuff is still in the mail...(ups), the tent, ballast, cooltube, and fan... im vegging with growbox's,,, then switching to the tent in a couple weeks... so ill keep you updated on pics

DAY 11
whats up! ..so heres the deal, i salvaged one that i thought was doomed (#3)... shes the same age as the 2 that are doing really good, but shes so small...ill let her chill for awhile.... and I was saving 1 NL seed for the future, and since alot of my seeds didnt germ..i germinated that one (#4), along with a seed i found in some dank bud (#5)

so now i have 5 at least.... alot better than 2, im hoping for 3 females....yes 3 would make me a very happy man

1. shot of plant #1, coming down with a Mag deficiency... ive been going light on the calmag+, i wont anymore... just added some epsom salts to correct it til next nute change...

I hope they make good on the seeds for ya....but if ya get a female you'll be set. Joey Weed's NL has made some killer crosses...so I think you'll be in for a frosty-nugged treat!
