not trying to be rude but how do you get ur plant to streach so much. i've grown pure sativas and never had over a 6 inch streach when i switch them to flowering. case in point my currant grow plants wer put to flowering 4 weeks ago at 1 foot and most of the plants are less then 16 inches tall and only like 2 are around 18 inches tall but not quit.

point being am i doing something very wrong or doing something very right and just haven't figured out what it is yet

also like your lil experiment i use to grow many just rooted clones in 2 liter pop bottles i had close to 70 of them if i rember right had 66 and averaged 10 grams per plant but none of mine were that size when flowering useuly 6 to 8 inches at the most when put to flowering. but on anouther site i saw a guy do plants from seed in a couple differant sized pots a shot glass and a party cup i think the 18 or 20 oz sized cups if i rember right he said he got close to an once off the one in the party cup but the one grown in the party cup was a lil over a foot tall when he put her to flowering. but he couldn't rember how much he got off the shot glass grown plant

First I would like to say, MRX, excellent grow. ice, in regard to your question about the stretching, this is due to the cfl's not being closer to the plants. They are reaching to get more light. cfl's are awesome, but they have to be close to the plants, real close, fortunately they don't burn too hot. You can usually keep them about 4-6 inches from the plants.

Ice we let that one stretch to see how far it will go before stressign itself. Man the thing is doing great, nice and green and smells sumthin nice. It gets feed the same as the others(every two days*alt. nutes). The bud on it looks good for only being onto flower for 3 weeksAll of our clones are about 12 to 14 inches tall and flowering very well. The Mrs. pruned them up and boy they look nice and sweet.

i didn't mean in just his grow i mean in grows in general as everybody says plants useuly finish at least twice as tall as they were when put to flower and if sativas 3 to 4 times the height and i've yet to have evan a sativa finish twice as tall as it was when it was put into flowering and i'm just useing a 400 watt hortilux on a lightrail mover in a 6x3x4 foot space pluss have a 273 cfm dayton exhusting the air the whole time the lights are on pluss i have a 10" inch personal box fan set up in one of the upper corners blowing the air toward the exhust fan across the light but i get my light to with-in 8 inchs from my tops can get as close as 5 with out burning so i went a lil higher just incase

Well cut two down last nite and got some very good bud. I'm shooting for 2.5 to 3 O's off two plants, but the other ones are putting on good weight and smell great. Clones are being flowered except for the mother clone which has had 4 clones taken off her(which are waiting to root)...Other than that all is good in grown closet...
