Default Scarlet Queen

One of the tastiest lines I have ever grown out from 5 seeds we got 4 females and 3 keepers its hard to decide who is best but Alpha maye have the edge.
I just finished harvesting Donna the Foxtail Pheno

She is large!

Killer Queen X Space Queen
Unfortunately the people charged with keeping the KQ cutting alive had a mishap and we lost this one forever.
I took a QP of this to the cup and everyone I gave a bong hit to was just blown away by the flavor I had a blast giving everyone bong rips and taking there pic.

Default Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian Rhapsody
Champagne X Space Queen

Another famous Canadian Elite strain I have been trying to get my hands on this clone only strain for years and Badboy finally scored her for us

The Champagne is a favorite among bubble hash makers and a BC legend

I didn't really like the smoke though even though other people did so I tossed like 3000 seeds in a burger king garden and moved on to other test.
This is how I have created a few good strains without any formal training IMO just keep trying and be the pot snob from hell only keeping the ones that are special. Bo was nothing ordinary but compared to some of the other things I have tasted she just wasn't all I wanted.

Default Querkle

This is Querkle our Purple Urkle cross times Space Queen. It has been fully tested and released and is extremly hot as people have wanted a great tasting hybrid that goes Purple since we canned Doja.

I started 5 seeds got 4 females and they all exhibit colors but more importantly they yield more than mom, grow faster and have a killer taste.

Purple Urkle X Space Queen

This is Z we ended up keeping this female as head stash totally sour grapes and this ****s stoney enough to laminate you to a couch.

Its a big hit in the clubs it seems and I was surprised to find out that out of a freebie pack I gave Richard Lee they were able to find this Z pheno we speak of basically a grape tasting urkle dom pheno that has more resin than the mother and a slightly stronger grape taste I assume coming from the combination of lavender and Cherry.

This is one of the strains that will be a prize for one of ya'll contest when one is held.

These are actually two different females one I grew the other was grown by a medical grower I tutor.

Default The Saga continues :) Void

I been slack about this thread as it kind of became the basis for the book of dank but through editing and such the book lost many of the strains that wern't 100% winners and that is kind of a shame so this online thread remains the undisputed genetic story of my life

A Dank Mystery
The case of Void got better.

Early this year I selected a really gooey purple male Querkle plant and pollinated the Urkle mother and we sent out 420 seeds for testing. This data is still being collected but while I had the Querkle male live with pollen I decided to also pollinate the Apollo-13 mother plant to give me an idea what traits this new male might pass on using a mother plant we know so well. I gave this hastily created hybrid the name “The Void” thinking it was fitting, as it was a strain created in between two others Querkle and Deep Purple. I germinated 5 seeds and selected the two best looking females out of 3 and grew them to completion. The end smoke was potent and the yield was good as well as both females just covered in raised trichomes but both of them lacked the fruity smell I always look for in Apollo-13 crosses. The larger female tagged “L” gave us almost 3 ounces topped only once grown from seed and the other one “J” was smaller and had a better pistil to leaf ratio. Short and sweet at that time I wasn’t overly impressed, our hybrid Vortex taste better and expressed more of the traits I follow in my lines and I told many people Vortex was simply better.
I always take clones of our new seedlings and I already had 2 nice plants vegged out and ready to be budded so by the time I harvested the seed plants I went ahead and budded both females. Vortex after all is a pretty high standard and certainly everyone that tasted the bud from the first Void plants was very impressed and most did not understand my lack luster endorsement of the cross. Since I already had really nicely topped clones of both females it only made since to run them through the bud room again, I mean the weed was a crusher and extremely potent and my patients certainly aren’t going to complain about free medicine no matter what kind it is. So I ran these in my regular super soil in the same environment and the only difference was slightly lower temperatures less that 10 degrees average. I don’t really add any nutrients with my soil and only feed the soil itself using Sucanat and Sweatleaf a Product by AN both containing high levels of sugars and citric acids to stimulate the Krebs cycle and resin production as well as enhance the taste. I do not deviate from the way I have grown for a very long time so there is not one thing I can point to that’s different in anyway from the seed run and this clone run.

So what Happened?
The plants grew basically the same until the last two weeks when I noticed a slight fading that indicated the plants were turning a slight purple. This is very normal for a plant once the temps fall near harvest time when growing in organic soil. As the plants reached maturity this time they begin to take on a really nice grape smell that wasn’t present in the seed run. The plants both finished at around week 8 and I was surprised at how much different the bud smelled while I was trimming it. The first time the weed basically smelled like strong bud but lacked any definable character, unlike this run where the bud smelled amazing combining the grape flavor of Querkle with the strong sour smell of Apollo-13. My patient called me a few days after picking up his medicine and told me he was very impressed with Void and asked if it was the same plant as last run? When I told him it was the same cutting he was also surprised as he felt it was considerably better on the second run. We can only conclude that the plant took longer than normal to reach its full potential. We kept the smaller female tagged J and we enjoy her each harvest still. The larger female, L was passed on to a medical grower to provide clones to his co-op.
To sum up this report its very apparent that some strains won’t reach there full potential grown from seed and these rare females will only show there true colors if there given more than one run through the bud room. Void is one that we almost judged to quickly and that would have been a great loss to stoners everywhere. Don’t be so hasty when growing something new and give it time to show you her stuff.

Default Snowdawg by ChemDawg

There is a great deal of interest in the strains created by the grower Chemdawg. The story goes like this. At a Grateful Dead show at Deer Creek Amphitheatre, 'joebrand' (aka 'wonkanobe') and 'pbud' met 'chemdog' and sold him an ounce of very high quality pot for $500. joe and chemdog exchanged numbers and they later arranged for two ounces to be shipped to chemdog on the east coast. According to chemdog, one ounce was seedless and the other had 13 seeds.

In ’91, chemdog popped the first 4 seeds. From these seeds, one male was found and disposed of. The 3 females were labeled ‘chemdawg’ (now ’91 chemdawg), ‘chemdawg a’ (now chemdawg’s sister), and ‘chemdawg b’. In '01, chemdog and his girlfriend attempted to germ 3 more seeds, labeled ‘c’, ‘d’, and ‘e’. the ‘e’ seed never germinated, ‘c’ turned out to be junk (according to chemdog), and chemdawg ‘d’ was the keeper. In '06, 'chemdog' and 'joebrand' reunited and joe was given 4 of the last 6 beans: Chemdawg phenos 1-4, '4' being the chosen keeper. Joe thought the '4' was the best representation of the original and thus dubbed it the 'reunion pheno'. Chemdog still has two seeds left in his stash.

Chemdog' and friends made several other crosses that are held closely by a small group of friends and acquaintances. Among them are:

1. Super Snowdawg (Bubble Chem x [Super skunk x Oregon Sno])
2. Giesel (Chem D x Mass Super Skunk)
3. Bubble Chem (Chemdawg’s Sister x Sag's Bubbleberry)
4. Dawg Daze aka ChemHaze (Chem D x ’93 Sensi's NL#5/Haze)
5. Chemdawg D x Pbud (another old-school Colorado strain)

I got this information from the internet mainly a post on ICmag posted by Guest, later I took lots of heat from this and I actually paid the cat who made this post my word rate for his information. In August of 2006 Chemdog came out to visit Mzjill and myself to swap stories and have a smoke out. It was a fantastic party with late night bubble sessions and everyone got along great and Jills cookies worked her magic. Chem is a super nice guy as is his entire family and we hit if off like old friends. During the festivities Chem and I slipped upstairs and traded some goodies so that I could do one of my famous Live Photo/Taste sessions.

Chem was more than generous giving me the largest buds of many of the samples. The quality of each sample was very good. Cured well and not green even shipped around theses samples were all top shelf. These are the strains he had with him.

Super Snow Dawg
Sour Diesel
Giezil
OG Kush
Chemdawgs Sister
Mass Super Skunk
Mendo Purps
Chemdawg D
Chemdawg
Genius
Jacks Cleaner
Genius
Jacks Cleaner
Purple Kush
Master Kush
Dawg Days
Head band

Now we had a proper smoke out but I am better judging at my own speed with a clean bong and some strong coffee early in the morning. I can test two strains per day properly any more and the high’s just mix together and you can’t tell the slight differences in each bud sample. My Original Toke notes from

Snodawg
Ok first hit….
The flavor is not really something I can put a name on other than I really loved the initial intake. It kind of reminds me of the White Russian sample I had at Ruskia before WR started sucking. I coughed a few times and then smiled let me dive into this a bit.
I really like this but it would be nice if I could describe its flavor to you guys I am gonna have to stick with DANK for now.
Hit #2
Slight skunk on my finger tips, if all the samples are this good this is going to be a warm up to the Cannabis cup except with Real Cannabis! Its totally yummy now that my lungs have warmed up but the delicious taste just came through in and out I like this bud a lot and I am already stoned as hell and considering the amount of THC we consumed last night that’s pretty impressive.
Hit #3
Sub takes a breath, hey it’s hard work but it is my job to bring you the latest Cannabis info… The third bowl brought tears to my eyes so it must be some pretty serious dank I am trying to move to the second strain but I am gonna enjoy this buzz awhile.
Chemdawg
The second strain I decided to test was the famous Chemdawg that draws so much attention. It’s the strain on every growers to do list right now. It is a heavy Indica with a crushing stone. It has a much different smell than the Snowdawg I can catch traces of pungent funk similar to the Grimm stuff. Sample appears to have been grown a good while ago and leans towards golden rather than green. A very well cured bud.
This smoke is thicker and burned my nose at first then I coughed really hard. Ok either its considerably stronger or the fact I am 4 bowls deep at 8 am but I am pretty stoned, I can feel the tug of the 4th bowl over the first three but I liked the flavor of the Snowdawg more at this point.

Giesel

This is a Pheno that has a more pungent smell and taste and to me I taste Cindy99 in it but that’s just a flavor now I associate with fruity type sour strains. Although similar to the Dawg itself I think I like this one as much if not more. If I am not as in depth now on the thread it’s because I am stoned as ****!

Second Try:
To be honest this is more sour tasting to me than the SD and it has a nice spicy undertone and I am going to say this may be my second favorite. I am going to have a few bowls of this, as this is promising, I was so high this am by this one I couldn’t tell.
Second hit
Although the smoke is super thick I don't have any problems holding in a large hit, the buzz is very nice and the exhale is pleasant.

Sour Diesel
I found it to be really more dieselish that anything and certainly not that sour based on my gear but it left that oily taste on my tongue I heard about and it hit me pretty hard in the back of the head. This is where I had to take a small break. Basically ripped out of my gourd on everything. After a brief nap and smoked more of the SD in the afternoon, later after a shower with clean head, I like the buzz but It’s not a sweet enough strain for me so far the Snowdawg is my favorite.

The SD reminds me of thick old Shrimp Boat Colombo from the bilge but that makes the sample sound ****ty and you can see by the pics that’s far from the case. It is very hard to judge Chems weed because it keeps ****ing me up. By Hit three I find it hard to continue.

Chem Dog D
I'd like to again thank Chemdawg its been a long time since I had this many samples it will takes a few more days to complete this so don't bail on me some of the more interesting ones I am saving to do solo.
Excellent rock hard sample
Now this smells like diesel big time like an old dirty rag in a gas station with a hint of garlic underneath. Very peculiar.
Hit #1 ( First of the Day)
Like many of Chems selections the smoke is think and oily instead of light and fruity, A slight burn in my sinuses is present and I am instantly stoned.
It seems Chems focus has been on insanely potent strains.

If I do a report on everything he brought it would take up the whole magazine so I am focusing on the most well known of his strains mainly Snodawg.

Other strains I liked were Headband and of coarse the genius sample was just amazing. The Sister was very similar to the ChemD and it was getting very hard for me to tell the strains apart by this time. Other than the Headband and Snodawg I found most of the samples very similar. The ChemD was so strong we started calling it ‘Goobers Rag” as it really did smell like one of those old red rags a station attendant will carry in his back pocket. Over the next year I had the opportunity to grow out several of these crosses but I am really a taste guy and the thick oily flavors of most of this gear just didn’t suit me but the one strain Snodawg was hard for me to forget, as a grower I always am curious as to what a elite cut will taste like grown by me in my soil.

Early this year I was able to grab a cutting of the Snodawg and set about growing her out.
She grew easily and also cloned very fast. The plant stays short in veg and once topped she forms a really nice multi headed bush without much training at all. Once placed into 12/12 her stretch is minimal and she only increases in height about 30%. She has very wide Indica shaped leaves and I removed the larger ones to allow light to penetrate down to the lower second shelf buds.

The plant started fading by day 40, which indicates she is a heavy feeding plant as she was placed in my concentrated Super Soil that has plenty of nutrients for most of the varieties I grow. I top dressed the container with more super soil and gave her a feeding to slow down the yellowing and on future runs I will increase the amount of concentrate I use on her. By day 60 she had a beautiful Red and Yellow fade and just a really nice fruity Indica smell. The buds were full and hard and we harvested her at day 65 when about 40% of her Trichomes had turned amber. The buds were air dried for 7 days then placed in open glass jars until the stems started snapping when bent. This indicates enough moisture has evaporated and its now time to place lids on the jar. After 3 weeks the buds had loft all of there green smell and now had a slightly fruity smell that reminded me a lot of White Widow. The smoke is very think and Oily and Strong, just a few bowls and you are very high! We smoked a joint at week 4 curing and it was hard to finish between two of us and afterwards we sat still just staring off into space for a good hour. I still think the cross could use more resin as it makes very little Sugar leaf but this is common for dense buds like this.

We plan to pollinate this Indica Dominant female with our Resin creating Male SpaceDude and let regulars on Breedbay grow it out. That’s right were just going give the strain away to thousands of people just because I think to many people are making bank off Chems gear. Out of all the gear Chem brought for me to test, Snodawg was the MILF of the lot. Look online for progress on Snowqueen and details on how you can grab some at.

This actually took place and seeds were given away at Breedbay, THC farmer, Amsterdam at the Cup, Hempdepot and anyone I felt like sending em too

Default Ak-47

Years ago when I traveled to Amsterdam one of the first heavy Indica’s I tried was AK-47. I loved the spicy fruity taste and if memory serves we actually got so high I was dosing sitting in Grey Area and Steve poked me and gave me a look that said I like ya Sub but you can’t sleep in my tiny shop. We headed outside for fresh air and then across the street for Handmade Gourmet chocolates. I never forgot that experience, so we took some seeds back to grow out for nighttime medicine. This was 12 years ago and over the years I lost my female and lost contact with the guys that I gave cuts to or the other growers that I split the seeds with. In 2002 I grew out some seeds of AK-47 and I was really disappointed in the results. The strain was nothing like I remembered and each female was quite different from seed. Even Simon the breeder and owner of Serious seeds has stated openly that up to 100 AK-47 seeds would need to be started to find the one cherry female that everyone knew and loved back in the early 90’s. I felt the male or something was lost and the AK-47 seeds sold now were in name only and I moved on to other clone only strains for my medicine. One famous grower Nebu was able to keep a cut and it’s regarded as one of the best Indica clones around but he is very tight with it as he uses the female to breed with.
Over the years from time to time I run across samples of AK-47 and I am always disappointed until this year. I have friend that is a caregiver that I give advise to, his first garden ever was featured in the Last TY in the article “Whats in Your Garage” we call him “Dave”. Dave called me two months ago and said one of his patience had a cutting of AK that came from seeds bought in 1994. I quickly looked online and found the release date of AK-47 of 1992 and at this point I got very interested. I asked if a bud sample was possible and he told me the plants were at 9 weeks and went 70 days and he would have some samples soon. True to his word he showed up about 2 weeks later with a few thick buds and shoved one under my nose. “Smell like cherries?” he asked. The thick oily smell was infused with Cherries and Spice and was the exact smell I remembered from the Grey Area so many years back. I asked for a cutting and sure enough 10 days later a little baby clone was delivered to me. I transplanted her into my soil and placed her in the vegetive room under a 1000 watt metal halide Hortilux Blue Bulb set up. She grew fast and immediately started pushing out wide Indica dominant fan leafs. She grew really fast and it didn’t take long at all before she was a nice short bush with many heads. When she reached 30” in total plant height I placed her into 12/12 HPS lighting with 1200ppm CO2 added to boost growth rate. By day 30 nice colas were forming and we can already see resin in heavy concentrations on all leaves and even the stems. Even this early I am impressed with what I see and the cherry smell is starting to come on. The one trait we didn’t like on this strain was the leaf weight it carries into the finish. I was asked my the owner of the cutting to cross her with Space Queen in hopes to improve her Pistil to leaf ratio. If she passes our taste test we are going to proceed and call the outcross “ Tommy Gun”. The clone goes 70 days so we still have some time on ours but since I have such a good relationship with Marco I am hoping he will let me submit a part two with the final results. As I put this article to keyboard our girl is 33 days old and I will do a final photo shoot tonight and get the shots to Marco so you can see her as up to date as possibly.
She did not pass our test and while she was massive and smelled amazing in the end she was only a leafy 8

Culled!

Default Romulan....the next generation

98 TreatingYourself, Spring 2008
Romulan is one of those strains that has almost
mythical status among growers and when I started
doing research I found out there is not that much info
available. First off I dug around at the old BCGA website
and found this:
"It has been one of Vancouver Island's best kept
secrets for a few years. Up till about 18 months ago,
Romulan Joe from the island was all Vancouver knew
of Romulan. Then I showed about 18 months ago at
HBC with some bud and photos looking for advice
about good genetics to cross it with. Boy did I create
a commotion. I was offered some serious dollars for
a clone. I said no but that I would be happy to work
something out with some seeds.
For you breeders, take note that 18 months ago, Vancouver
breeders did not have access to Romulan
genetics. At that time both the Romulan that Joe was
bringing to Vancouver and my Romulan was the
same bud. About six months ago I returned and Vancouver's
Romulan was now more potent than mine
but had lost some of its flavor". Vic High
It's no secret that Vic is one of my favorite breeders and
the fact he worked with Romulan already makes it special
and then this year I was lucky enough to meet someone
that has the cut and grows it in a green house each
year. The first bud I sampled was really impressive with a
perfume oily smell that really got my attention from the
very first bong hit. Pure Romulan is supposed to be a very
stable plant that produces very uniform F1 hybrids. This
combined with its amazing flavor prompted us to create
a Hybrid using this clone only female Romulan and Space
Queen. This will lock down the Romulan traits in large
numbers and add some of the Romulan Funk to the sibling
outcross. When we first got a cutting of the Romulan
I was surprised at how slow it grew and initially I got a
very poor yield but as I got to know her I learned she
liked a lot of attention requiring additional time in veg
and lots of shaping and bondage to form multiple tops
and a wide bush. The first time I budded her I did not give
her ample vegetive time and my yield was very low. I
almost culled the plant but the smoke tasted so good and

the buzz was so pleasant that I gave her another chance
and asked Jem777 for another cutting. He was running
out of room at his grow so instead of a cutting he shows
up with a 24" trained bush complete with LST and
bondage. I had no room in the budding area so I continued
to veg her until she was like 40" tall with 6 heads by
the time my crop finished and I made room for her. I
placed her under the 400 watt HPS with side lighting
from both 1000 watt hoods on the sides and she just
loved the cool temps and 1200 PPM of co2 I run in my
bud room. She packed on the buds by week six and the
smell was just unbelievable anytime you got close to her
at all the **** would just drift over and slap you in the
face. She started fading around 50 days so I topped
dressed the container with super soil and fed her some
organic bloom solution as well as loading her with sugars.
She continued to mature and by day 60 she was carpeted
with oily resin glands that were about 40% amber
telling me she was ready to harvest.
Using this method I was able to increase her yield to just
under 5 ounces in Super Soil. Romulan has quickly
become one of our new favorite night time smokes. It has
a awesome flavor and the Indica make up is perfect for un
winding in the evening hours. It tends to bring on the
munchies and a session is usually followed by a chocolate
snack. Romulan will be staying around here as stash and
also as one of our new mother plants.
1) Phenotypes – Clone Only
2) Height- Short stocky branchy plant
3) Yield- better than average with proper training
4) Indoor/Outdoor/Greenhouse
5) Best way to grow- Multiple topping and training
into a wide bush
6) Harvest Window- 8 weeks
7) Sativa/Indica 30/70
8) Hybrid- BGCA Original
9) High type- Heavy and comforting great for sleep
and relaxation
10) Smells Floral and Oily with a spicy pine after
taste.
11) Comments Thanks Vic High!

Default UK Cheese

The Cheese
By Subcool
I first heard of this famous UK strain on the web site Breedbay. Seems it is all the rage in the UK among indoor growers. The general take among these growers was it was just about the best strain around there parts. Now my first thoughts were it was just another stinky cutting similar to many I have grown. But as I spoke to more and more growers from the UK I began to realize, maybe it was really special and unique after all! In the summer of 2007 I traveled to the Birmingham in the UK. The trip was pretty normal over all but when I landed in Gatwick Airport, the customs line was 12 rows wide and people were moving very slow, it took a full 2 hours to just clear the gate and make my way to baggage pick up. I always look for Bob as hes the taller of my two English buddies and I soon spotted both him and Pistils with huge Cheshire cat grins.

We make our way to the parking area and we head to the Blue zone where they had parked. The first thing I saw that proved people are totally alike everywhere was us not having a clue where the car was in the garage, sound familiar? We do this **** at home about 3 times a month…where the **** did we park?
Pistils, Bob and I spent a week there seeing the sites meeting other growers and being treated basically like a King by these awesome people. They showed me many cool things about their area and it wasn’t long after landed the subject of cheese came up. So after a small walkabout we locate the ride and pile in. Bob hands me a Hemp Bong bag and Pistils a Stash Jar. Inside the bag was a Roor Bong with all the parts and a glass screen, inside the Jar was 4-6 Large JTR nugs cured to perfection grown by a friend of Pistils and just a killer sample. I felt like I was home with a brand new bong! Now riding with Bob is like going to the fair and riding a fast ride. He’s a trained ambulance driver and he ****ing hauls ass! We were hitting 120 easy in places as I sat in the back seat smoking bingers out of the Roor, it wasn’t till later that I found out the zooming is just as big a fine as here and they don’t do bingers in cars, I have never been good at the following the rules thing….Thanks for making me feel like the King of Ganja guys. When you travel you always learn great new words. Now no one I met was nothing but nice but just like stateside the people around you can be annoying. The guy in front or your car going slow that wont get outa the way, The cook that drops his hair on ya food it truly was just like home but as we would call someone in our way an asshat ,Pistils shouts Move ya Cheeky Wankers, a more severe term is Knobhead and just cracked me up.

Lovely jubbley is a phase thats means Kick ass!

Mashed is stoned

No bongs Spliffs are the toke of the day

I absolutely smoked Cheese as everyone I met seemed to have a stash of this bud. I loved the fruity flavor and great head rush it is apparently really ****ing good cause I smoked the stuff for 4 days and never took a picture of a bud. I forgot my cam battery BTW and we spent 3 hours driving to every store in Birmingham looking for a d-80 battery but we only incurred Knobheads and Wankers yet again.

I felt that we probably have similar strains already here in the US. Cheese isn't cheese like its just funky its similar to Tiny Bomb or a Funky fruity C99 but it also has a exotic spice undertone and a warm buttery toke. The exhale is spicy and smooth I smoked the same cut grown by many people and many ways and the flavor and strong smell was always there.
Lovely Jubbley!

This summer a friend, Obsoul33te from Northern California came to visit us. We spent a day swapping stories sharing bud and bubble and traded a few cuttings. He had some really nice gear in his stash but of all the stuff he offered the one I was interested in the most was Cheese. OB has some really good connections and if anyone has a real cutting of something it is him. The cutting was accompanied by some really large and dense buds that were grown outdoors and I must say my first impression was it was the same weird smell I remember from my trip, but these buds were huge compared to the buds I saw in England. Sunshine is much different than indoor lighting and some strains blow up under God’s light.

I planted the Cheese cutting in a 6” container and placed her in my vegging room under a 1000 watt Hortilux Blue Metal halide Bulb. These very expensive bulbs are designed to have enhanced Blue spectrum and I notice they produce shorter plants with thick stalks. I topped the Cheese cutting early to form multiple heads and continued to grow her under 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness until she formed a large dense bush.
She grew very similar to our Apollo-13 mother plant, mainly growing sideways and having very thin vine like stems. I supported her well with bamboo stakes and wire twist ties to keep the main buds from sagging below the canopy. She was a very squat plant and needed additional height to compete with some of my taller plants so she was placed on top of some bricks to even things out. Even still in veg you could smell her if you moved her or brushed up against the plant. A slightly rotting smell not quite Cheese but I understand why it got the name. At this early stage she reminded me or Port Wine Cheese spread.

The plant started to really fill out with buds by day 30 and my bud room took on a smell I had never encountered before. I was also running a new cutting of AK-47 that, combined with the funk of Cheese was overwhelming at times. It had a slightly Cherry smell but also a flat beer or garbage can smell that was gross and attractive at the same time. As the plant matured past day 45 I was worried I would not like the strain at all as it took on the smell of spoiled Vomit and fruit I could not imagine anything good coming from those smells.

By day 50 the rotting smell took a back seat to an astringent cleaning fruit smell if you actually smelled a bud but the odor it gave off in the room was a funky fruit/cheese smell.
I was having a hard time deciding when to harvest the plant as most of the pistils were shriveling up but many were still white in color so I contacted some UK growers and they informed me I was looking at 56 days for maximum flavor and smoothness so that’s the day I harvested her. The plant may not have looked huge but as a whole it had a tremendous number of bud sites and each nugget was hard and filled out completely. I could not help but notice a hanger of Cheese colas weighed as much as the huge hanger of AK buds harvested the same day. There was just twice as many rock hard buds on the Cheese hanger and it made up for the huge size of the AK-47.
I trimmed each bud well to collect as much sugar leaf as possible to make some Cheese bubblehash later. I was able to fill 4 clothes hangers with buds from the one plant and since it roots so easy I already have another Cheese plant 36” tall to place in the bud room.

We allowed the buds to hang and dry completely in 7 days and then I removed them from the stem and placed into a aluminum trey to finish air drying. When the stem was crunchy I placed the buds in an open jar and into my stash cabinet. After a few days I placed a lid on and we waited for these already incredibly pungent buds to cure for several weeks. This will allow us to do a proper judging as Cured Bud is the best tasting and has a better high.

We waited 2 weeks before opening the jar again and the smell is really amazing. It is also very hard to describe. Slightly fruity with a complex astringent or some type of disinfecting cleaner, the cheese smell only occurs when smelling it from a distance or in bulk. When you actually shove a bud under your nose and sniff the smell is much more than just Cheesy! The sample bud is crunchy and crisp with just a slight pliability that tells me the dry is perfect. A clean Bong with Ice of course is standing at the ready as I place a small pile into the glass bowl.

I thought once I actually grew out this cut and sampled it it would be just another over hyped strain but I was completely WRONG! The first thing that gets your attention is bud quality, each nuglet is hard and dense and just emitting a strong antiseptic smell combined with the strong smell of DANK. I find even as a Cannabis Journalist describing the taste and smell f Cheese is quite the challenge. I shove my face into a jar of perfectly cured bud as I type trying to come up with a description and I find it just impossible. Good, strong, dank, thick herbal smell and it just overwhelms the senses and makes you happy. You can keep smelling it all day and its extremely appealing to the pallet. Cheese is very frosty with resin but the trichome heads are fairly small and when I made Bubblehash the yield was medium but again the quality is outstanding and the Full melt hash has that same incredible taste. I am hoping Mamakind can help me with a description of the smell and taste. The buzz comes on strong and fast and my patients report instant pain relief from just a few tokes. I find the buzz happy and comforting but not overwhelming again making it weed you can smoke bowl after bowl of. I have a high tolerance so its probably stronger than I can tell. Overall it has quickly become one of our favorite smokes. She is very easy to grow and clone and only needs some bud support to prevent her ample buds from falling over late in bloom.

Many strains that are sought after never measure up to the hype surrounding them but this is one bud we will be smoking for a long time to come. Lovely Jubbley.

Default Sonics Pine Queen

This strain is one of the first I have run by another breeder in some time and I was very pleased with the results.
The Shimla Dom pheno really caught my attention and has an incredible flavor.

Very nice and warm, comforting and relaxing while also improving your general mode.
Strong Like Moroccan hash and spice with a slight fruity undertone very different
Wraps the tongue is heavy flavor but reminds me of something from Ali Baba, reminds me of date palms and spice.

If you havn't heard of Sonic you might want to check him out

I test my seed plants in 5 gallon pots and run clones in 7 gallon low boy nursery pots. With seeds its all about picking that winning female and getting a clone of her in a full size container.

man, now this sounds like a strain to try!
