Question Question about air cooling reflectors

Hello all, im working on air cooling both of my reflectors for 1x 1000w MH and 1x 1000w HPS. my issue is that i do not have access to anymore windows to bring in outside air and blow the air from the reflectors out of the room. i was wondering if it will be the same if i just run a 4 inch fan on each side of my reflector and blow the air back into my room through the top of the reflector. would this sufficiently allow me to lower my light closer to tops of plants without burns or what?

Ice,

I guess I am confused as to what your grow room design is.

Air feeding the lights can come from inside your grow room, or from an outside source.

Where does the fresh air into your room come from?

You want to exhaust the air from your light outside or even up through the attic to a roof vent (filter?) if at all possible. Those 1k lamps can really put out the heat, and you want to remove that heat from the room, plus keep fresh, cool air entering the room.

Here are a couple examples I drew up (ain't no arTist...;-0)

I am using the bottom option for my veg room, and the flower is exhausted (2 X 600W) via the top method (with a bit of a twist).

hey ISO thank you for the drawing lol as basic as it is it helped me see what your talking about. my issue is i do not have any more windows i can access b/c they are either already in use or too far away to run any kind of ducts. my 400 cfm fan that im using for exhaust can empty my whole attic (about 1500 sf) in 4-5 min. i have another blower (it happens to be a dual blower....2 four inch squirrel cage blowers connected in the middle) so i was going to try to use the dual blower to blow air through both sides of my reflector (happens to have place for 4 inch ducts to hook up) and just cut a similar square hole in the top for the hot air to escape. would this be good enough to air cool one reflector?
