2 1000 watts in a 6'X6'!!!!! Geez youd need sunblock and sunglasses in there not too mention you better have a hell of a ventilation setup. I bet that fan runs a muffler.

1-1000w. Eye Hortilux Super EN HPS - Vented Hood/800cfm Exhaust - On A 4' Light Mover. Or 2-600w.hps Eye Hortilux Super EN HPS - Vented Hood's/800cfm Exhaust. Either Set-Up Will Do A Great Job.

You Can Just About Double Your Crop, & Won't Have To Be Moving Plant's All The Time, Because The One's In The Middle Are Hogging All The Light.
Just Think About It!!!EH!!!

In that space, With an even canopy, I dont see any reason to have to move a single one of the plants for them to get even lighting under 2k of HPS lighting.
I myself would likely try to make one of the lamps a MH to mix the spectrum up

yes that is definately enough for a 6x6 room more than enough.just that 1000 watt is enough for a 6x6.
|
02-14-2009, 09:25 PM
| | | youll be alright
1400 is ok...youll be pushing it trying to use a whole 6x6 and keep 50watts per square foot but use your setup natural light "footprint" and put the plants withing that area...they all will gwet light... but the ones closer to the hids will get more.... with my setup i spaced the three 1000s over the 6x9 foot space equally basicaLLY ELIMINATING shadows. the walls are mylared to refect light back to the plants.

Why couldnt you solve this issue with two 400s in a tube type Vented Air Shade? I suppose if you have enough exhaust you could even go as far as to use the 2x 1Ks? Light travels downward throught the entire lenth of the Reflector and downward into the canopy. They are actually really slick and from what iv'e seen proven. Iv'e never used them personally but they would be ideal for that space. They make em up to 60" in length with a socket(cordset) in each end. check em out at www.wormsway.com
part number MT160
Let me know what you guys think of these and what are the drawbacks if any?
Thanks and Peace to you all
