Rep Power: 265 | | GrowBright 600 Watt MH Conversion Bulb?
Anyone running this lamp? (GrowBright 600 Watt MH Conversion Bulb).
I am thinking of changing a couple lamps around, and after reading this I believe it would be better for me to veg under the 600W and transfer my 1000W ballast to the flower room (I have a Hortilux enhanced HPS lamp for the 1000W..brand new).
Just wondering if the lamp is worth a damn...looks good! At 72,000 lumens it isn't far behind a 1000MH, and the 600W lasts 20,000 hrs (they say). High Tech Garden Supply

Hey ISO,I think you will do better by changing the 600 and the 1000 around like you said.I havent used the Horttilux Hps but somebody here has.I use the cheaper one from plantlighting.com and 1000 bulb.com $9.00 to $14.00 each. They work me me,I can but 3 or 4 of these bulbs for the price of one hortilux.HTG dose have a good price on that bulb.I wish somebody here would do a grow using both lamps in a side by side grow so we can see just how much better or not so better. Have good day my firend. PEACE

Mogie,
I agree, it would be interesting. I can do that next grow, but I want to be sure which two bulbs Y'all want side by side.
Is it the lower cost 600HPS vs. the Hortilul 600HPS, or low cost vs. the 1000HPS Hortilix?
Dazed and confused...LOL!!

ISO | I'd like to see low cost vs. hortilux..I use hortilux bulbs and would like to know if theres a dofference before I buy new bulbs. I use a MH conversion for veg. and enhanced HPS..they came used with the light and want to replace with the same but the bulbs cost more than I paid for the whole set-up.
