Thank you Lucky!
I have been set back by another round of treatment which has meant travel costs along with my costs of living of course. We all have the same problems though, dont we?
Question.....Will the exhaust fan i run across my cool tube be enough to take care of cooling the whole grow tent, which is 4 x 4 x about 6.5 feet?? Can i leave one end of the tube open so that it draws heat from the room too??

Hey there sorry to hear about the set back. I wish you the best my friend I hope things improve for you.
All the chit everyone has to deal with I agree it is very difficult. But, let me tell you how you will feel caring for a plant that actually helps you is very helpful.
I don't use a cool tube myself but if you were to leave an open end it would help with any other heat exhaust for sure. Plus with the cool tube I don't think you will have too much extra heat anyway so you should be good to go.
Hang in there you should be golden soon with this set up. | | The Following User Says Thank You to I8ntLucky_UR For This Useful Post: | |

ok.....I know i have a lot of Q's, but i figure you guys know just about everything after spending the last 3 months reading, reading reading threads here and mostly confusing myself. lol....I swear chemotherapy makes you a dummy!
In my tent i will be running a 3 bucket drip system, easy enuff for a newb right? Well can you or anyone suggest a reasonably priced, dependable multi meter that i can buy? I am so $$ tight now that I really need the best advice on this.
As always, I do thank for all the help. I know how repetitive it can be with new ppl since that is what I have done for years.....train newbs in the casino world. lol.
thanks in advance.

Available most hardware stores. I'm using a couple to securely mount my DIY Pyrex Bake-A-Round "Cool-tube".

I would think you have browsed Ebay?? I found quite a selection available there. I know most HID distributors carry them. Good luck - And let me know what you decide on.

Moto4u, I went ahead and bought a pair from HIDhut tonight on the suggestion of a friend. I was worried about getting something cheaply made off of ebay, yes, i've scoured ebay the last few weeks and just couldnt bring myself to pull the trigger on some of the stuff there. The difference in cost was minimal actually so I felt better going with the HUT. |

Yeah man ..... I find E-bay a scary place to deal and do things. Ever tried to get hold of a real person? Goodluck. I just got this Pyrex Bake-A-Round on E-bay, but til the moment I opened the box I was second guessing myself for buying E-bay !!! I sold a frikkin Harley on E-bay a couple years ago and used my brothers account to do so. A year and a half later HE was Still havin problems with E-bay and his bank account, and eventually closed the account (His BANK ACCOUNT !!!) !!! They wouldn't leave his account alone. Billed him, and got paid, for months. So yeah ... they worry me.

That's unfortunate about your Ebay experience . I fell victim to an "Attempted" scam a few years ago, however nothing negative has happened since that one event. Currently, I buy and sell on Ebay on a regular basis. I just hate paying retail if it can be avoided.
Good luck!

agreed Moto, its just not a comfort zone for many people.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming please, lol. Can someone please send me a link to a site that has some inline ventilation that is reasonably priced that will clear this 4 x 4 tent and my cool tube at the same time??
thanks in advance. |

thanks in advance. | I have heard many good things about CAP inline fans, and plan on ordering one next week. The place I found to order from I can get a 6" 435cfm fan shipped to my door for less than $100. Here is a link to the web page. Valueline Centrifugal Inline Fans - Plantlighting Hydroponics & Grow Lights
Hope that helps.

NICE! Looks exactly like what i have been tryin to find! many thanks........I may even be able to put Y in and completely close the cool tube while one sucks out the room and the cool tube.....I had planned to leave the tube open at one end, but this may solve everything.........
Do you think a 6 inch out with a y for the tube and the room and a 4 inch in will take care of my room with my 400w HPS?>? Oh, the tent if 4 x 4 x about 6.5 ft.
thanks again chuckd420. ......i think im ready to go.
Now all i need is for someone to come and hook up my RO system and im so in the game!
