The DayStar AC Reflector is super efficient with a cool running patented double-wall design, that lets it run up to 75% cooler than other reflectors on the market. It provides a HIGH level of reflectivity and a very even spread of light. It is compact and lightweight, weighing in at 10 lbs with a glass lens. Pictured to the left, this is the BEST air cooling reflector on the market.

Does that help? | Thanks Desert- For putting that in "blonde girlz terms" I get confused easily at times, that diagram didn't help my confusion? I still have to stick up for the Tube though, I STILL Love mine! When I get a bigger space, I ,might want to experiment with the reflector, if thats the case I may try it first with No reflector, and if Im still not happy- I will look into the air cooled reflectors. I just cant see the tube loosing that might light when it can be so close to the plants? I could be wrong, but HEY I kinda dont like fixing things that are not broken? SO I MAY NEVER LEAVE THE TUBE?

JointGirl | thing, but our brains do interpret and process information and data differently than men's. It is not "less than", or "slower" by any means, we are actually making more connections because our brains go in several different directions at once, well, while men tend to more focused on one thing at a time, which is just as beneficial and necessary, just different.
Just be patient and let your mind have time to "perculate" new concepts and ideas without focusing on trying to understand, and they just will kinda "sink in" after awhile.
I also am a strong believer in, "If it ain't broke, don't break it! lol!
Last year was my second grow, both outside. Folks started telling me that I needed to ph. My plants were doing great, so I refused! Turns out, I was right. Up here, outside, in this environment, they don't need it.
Keep trusting your instincts. Sounds like you have good ones!

Hey Sup?
Gotta tell ya that I'm a DIY cool-tube guy. If I had the big bucks I believe I might just go with one of those real purty tubes above, but $$ being tight at this time, I did the DIY Cool-tube thing and I'm a happy dude.
Sometimes our budget will define what we do and how we do it. Some folks won't have that particular problem.
For my money my cool-tube does the trick. I'll be adding a DIY reflector later.
Peace
