I was wondering if anyone has hooked up they're air cooled reflector to a furnace duct?Seems to me it would work fine while my ac is running, but in winter will the heated air be enough to cool it?!
I'm just trying to avoid adding another fan.
i'm running one 600 watt hps.

im runing a 600 w hps in my closet and i havent had it in there during a winter yet bt for me i need alot of air flow to keep that sucker cool...

It depends on how cold it gets where you live. The Comfort zone for Pot grown indoors is between 65 and 85 degrees. Outside of those temps growth slows dramatically!

I ended up adding another exhaust fan.

My favorite exhaust point are;

House ventilation in the winter if you can get away with it, to help heat.
Behind a wall and up to a roof vent
through the ceiling to a roof vent
Chimney
furnace exhaust

I never exhaust out windows, through walls, into a neighboring room, into a veg room (unless its damn cold in there), or anywhere people go.
