convert Sunburst to remote ballast? if so how?

FYI*When I was at Home Depot, I made sure to get the thickest wire I could. Ended up with 14ga. 12 ft. extension cord. It is as thick or thicker than the original wire.

Just wanted to post an update. I recently purchased a Hydrofarm Xtrasun 6" Air Cooled reflector from one of my local hydro shops. For $89+tax, I cant complain.

I had to get the 3 wire to 3 prong female adaptor to connect to the ballast so the reflector would plug in directly. Making the connection was just as easy as connecting the previous extension cable. 3 wires, 2 wire nuts and a phillips screwdriver for the ground.

Ive included a pic of the old home made contraption and the new one in action.
