Rep Power: 17 | | Yellowing tips... Hey,
Kinda trippin out on the yellowing of tips on my lower leaves.. First noticed on one leaf about 4 day back and I thought it was a burn from a light being too close...
Today I noticed there is another leaf that has edges that are yellowing...
Help...I read something that said it could be nitro deficiency?
Cheers |

Looks like nute burn to me...If it where due to lack of (N) you would see more yellowing of the leaves.

How can this be nute burn if i've never fed her anything but distilled h2o? Her irst watering had some of my old fish **** aquarium sludge added to it but that was 3 weeks ago original soil..
Thanks for the comment though

if you have a pH meter (or strips). run the distilled water through your plant, and collect it from the holes at the bottom. test that water for pH (may want to use a coffee filter to take out any soil). i dunno what your soil mix is but that could effect it (you want 6.3-6.8pH for soil....i would aim for 6.5). also how old are these plants now?

hey, if you give us more info like, ph, type soil, nutes used, lights, distance from lights... anything relevant like that we have more clues as to whats going on...
but still she looks healthy. vibrant except for that on those leaves...
try to understand what your plants ecosystem is like for a full 24hrs.. heat peaks, moisture in the air... moisture in the soil... lots of things can be the cause... gnats even... how did it start?

it could be that you haven't fed it anything yet... lack of nutrients??? try feeding them about 25% of a normal dose and see what happens

It's water pH. Copper, iron, manganese and zinc (rare) can be locked out by high pH. You need more acidic water - probably not much more, though.
If you haven't invested in a quality pH tester, yet, I would advise you to do so, immediately.
Good luck!

It seems PH is the root to many problem and in the last 2 years since i have got info from the net has it come to my atteinon how important it is..
The problem is very minor and the new growth looks good,so i would not worry about it..
Get some nutes and PH the water and feed her ,
HAPPY GROWING

Rep Power: 17 | | Thanks for the help all. I have actually decided to move her outdoors and let natures cycles take its course.. If it doesn't start looking any better i'll move her back into my lil system.. I have 5 others right behind her so no need to panic... Thanks though ...
