Default what strains should i get

I just harvested my two bag seed plants, and have two week old blue dream and blackberry clones that i am going to flower right away. I am not going to clone these plants as I am not really excited about either strain. They were a gift from another local mmj grower. My friend who also has a theraputic reccomendation is going to pick me up a few clones when he visits a large dispensary in the greater Los Angeles area. There seem to be too many choices these days. I am a newer grower who will probably stick to soil for one more cycle. I am limited to about 3' height. I was looking for three diffrent strains, one up(daytime), one couchlock and one pain/inbetween. Any suggestions? I live above 6000ft if that makes a diference. I am hoping to keep flowering under 10 weeks and was hoping for strains that might finsih within a few weeks of each other. I have a good carbon filter, but was hoping to avoid the super pungent stains. Thanks

slightly not off topic and strictly out of curiosity, how much does buying a clone typically run?

for therapeutic reasons look for plants with high CBD content - all pure indica strains - I'd recommend Afgan Kush or Mazar.short plants, bit slow to grow but make up in yied.

For back and head pain, you could do worse than light up some Purple Urkle. This sweet, sweet sativa-rich strain will soothe your cerebellum faster than you can say its name three times fast.

True to its name, Skunk is one muscle-relaxing indica variety you can smell a mile away – and what a happy odor it is

AK-47 Couch lock city

AK-47 and Cherry Bomb cross-breed offers strong relief with a smooth cherry flavor – just like Robitussin!

Poor little Quirkle, a crossbreed born from old favorites Purple Urkle and Space Queen, it got saddled with one of the strangest pot names around – and that’s saying a lot, with a long-lasting, full-body high

Millennium, offers the perfect balance of indica and sativa

West Coast favorite, Banana promises a moderate high, significant pain relief and the taste of dried bananas.

Ultimate Indica, muscle pain killer

The Banana mentioned above is very good. I got some Blue Dream from the dispensary the other week and I liked it alot. Good taste. Anyways for the three strains obviously a mostly sativa for the 'up' high during the day, a mostly indica for a 'painkiller' and couchlock, and the 50-50 is inbetween could just be a strain you wanna try. For the up (and what I have seen in CA dispensaries as I too just picked out a new strain to grow, i got Barney's Farm Red Diesel - a 50/50 mix), you should go with something mixed with trainwreck. There is a strain called "Snow Wreck" that is almost pure sativa and I have come quite fond of lately. For painkillers, the general rule is look for "berry". For some reason the berries tend to be good for painkillers and couchlock. Blueberry, Strawberry (a local CA indica that I LOVE), BubbleBerry. For real couchlock go for the heavy hitters. I really want to grow "White Russian" which I also got as the dispensary, its a White Widow x AK47 mix. Potent and will put you on your butt. Hope this helps, good luck!

Master Kush would be a good strain...It stays on the shorter side, its a good yielder, its very strong(mostly indica) and pretty close to odorless...Also if your gonna get your cuts in the L.A. area you should check out Progressive Options in Van Nuys...every time I go there I feel like a kid at toys r us...

If you want their contact info pm me and I will send it your way.

Good luck on your hunt.

So does that mean the seeds labeled Grape Ape I got from a friend who was sent the seeds from another grower couldn't possibly be as such?

But at least you can possess it to a moderate degree without fear of imprisonment. Monetary penalty for a z or less, correct? O.T. my condolences on the loss of "The Lion". That has dampened my hope in legislative successes in the near future, and has saddened my heart for the loss of such compassion in general.

That's true we are very lucky about under a z is a fine. So that's a start. Some cities have added on to the fines like Holyoke and Springfield. (gotta love that huh?) I'm very sad at our loss in the state and can only hope that someone who thinks like he did will replace him. Thank you all for your help.......

was hoping to find a white strain, I am considering ordering some white russian seeds. Any reccomendations on a good source. I ended up getting, Purple kush, krypto and head band on my first trip to the dispensary. These guys are all in various stages of flowering. I got casey jones, krypto and xj-13 on my last trip. Anyone familiar with these strains? I ended up going to sacramento as it was closer. I will make it to LA this winter. I have read some bad things about oaksterdam and dont want to support them by buying anymore of their clones.
