I buy those exact lights. All the 42w "GE"'s I have are red.

You can get an idea by the discription of the bulb.

Warm White = Red Spectrum

Soft White = Red Spectrum

Cool White = Blue Spectrum

Daylight = Better Blue Spectrum

I found my flood fixture w/bulb at home depot 65w/6500k cfl= 500w lps $42.00
If the bulb has 2700k on it, it is soft white(red)
If the bulb has 3500k on it, it is cool white(blue)
If the bulb has 5700k or more on it, it is daylight(higher blue)
If you look at different vendors you can find cfl's that range from 2100k-2700k(soft)
3000k-4300k(cool)--5000k-6500k(daylight)

essentially you want just warm white and daylight white. they provide the most appropriate spectrums.
