here are a few more pictures. the weather in Hawaii is finally getting cooler. Before the move into the new home temps would range from the mid to upper eighties. when she moved the temps were about the same, just a couple degrees lower, but the heat when opening the door isn't as much as the old box. On average, the temps are three to five degrees above ambient temp.
the current light cycle is on a 10/14 cycle...lol i feeling it. Since i reduced the light time her bud sites have stretched and the flowering seem to increase also. So did the stickieness.
The hairs are begining to orange and trichomes are starting to show. I'll probably check the tri before my next watering to see where she stands. Honestly i probably won't do a 12/12 again, unless its a pure sativa or a strain recommended for 12/12

Beautiful Buds coming on there Kaili. What happened to all the lower leaves on her? And how far into flower are you? Is that from heat stess she is going yellow or could it be a lack of nitrogen? The buds do not seem to be suffering but you want her to be able to support them and feed them. Have you started giving her any molasses or anything?

Peace

Most of the lower leaves have fallen off. Those leaves were the ones yellowing in the earlier pictures. To alleviate this, i just got my canna bio flores 2.5-2.5-5 so probably will give her nutes. The only other solution i can think of is to add more soil, already contains N, spread on the top then water. Kinda the same way to top feed...any suggestions?
as far as molasses goes, i gave her some a couple weeks ago, and the watering before that i top fed her some bone meal--she showed difference after a few days.

I find this intensely interesting...my last grow I turned the lights back like you. Now my leaves turned and began to fall of to...I thought it might be a lack of nutes also. Thinking today. I should of had plenty of nutes for the bone meal in the soil...but I was leaning of the nutes to. But seeing your grow, makes me believe it is the plant's response to the days getting shorter and give the plants energy to the bud development. It was the only way I could get my plants to dense to buds up.

So that leads me to wonder about rodelization occuring. I don't know exacly how long you have had the lights at 10 hrs...but keep a look out for a male banana until you decide harvest...that pollen will give you feminized seed on whatever bud you pollenate. Suppose to occur 2 weeks after trichomes start to degrade (I think). I didn't see it on mine...but I took it at 60% cloudy 40% amber. I'm curious if turning the lights back make this process happen quicker and would help speed up a breeding program.

Harvest whenever you decide...just look out for a male part sticking out there and please let me/us know if you find one.

Thanks for doing this kailiwela44!

Peace.

I don't remember how long i've had this on 10/14. I only recall reading about decreasing the light cycle, DJ shorts cannabis cult. book, to get some equatorial strains to flower. The buds are still forming and the calyxs seem to be rather tiny.

In his organic book he wrote he mentioned that rodelization occurs within two weeks after the budding cycle. He said that it's the plants way of self sustaining. The normal process of male polinating female doesn't occur and the plants survival instincts make it turn male. Kinda like how the Dinosaurs, from "jurassic park", turned female to male.

After reading non related materials. I decided that my next watering will include canna bio flores, the watering after that will have molasses, then plain water through the rest of the grow.
The yellowing on the leaves occur within the bush on what would be the main cola. When looking for displaced leaves i can feel her getting sticky, and within the bush i can see trichomes forming.
I am unsure if i should keep looking for leaves to remove or leave them in effort to reduce my contact with trichomes. suggestions?

I would just give the leaves you see that a turning/look almost dead a little tug to see if the pop off. Seems to be having a very high leaf to flower ratio? Maybe its the CFLs???

I would give it a teaspoon of molasses to a gallon every/or every other watering to the end. Just me though.

Peace.

I have found giving molasses and water right to the bitter end makes the buds sweeter and more resinous. .....and sooooooo sweet you can taste it!
