My hypothesis is that she did her flowering stretch when i turned the lights to 10/14. After a few days i did notice that some branches began to grow taller than the entire bush. The nodes on those branches are fairly compact and i can see the flowers getting frosty and bigger. Since she has gotten stickier i've been starting a routine to check for dead leaves every few days instead of daily. The dead leaves are sometimes still green, but have separated from the plant on it's own. I know air circ for the entire plant is a must, but the feeling i get is i lose more by touching her than losing the air circ. So i added another 4" fan to circulate the air the other fan couldn't get effectively A couple nights ago i added about 1/4 strength of canna bio flores. I do think that she is finally uptaking some nutes from the bone meal i top fed a couple weeks ago. I've read that it takes a couple weeks for those nutes to be released...clarification? Another thing that has happened is the weather. Hawaii is apparantely getting winter weather early so the temps during lights on have dropped allowing the temps during lights on to be around 80F, and during lights off the mid 70s. finally some ideal temps. I don't know about the humidity but on overcast days we can feel it, but since the area i live is relatively dry we've never had to deal with mold. kailiwela44

| Dont know, i'm from O`ahu not Maui...lol j/k. I'm sure they're are around. Nobody now-a-days really cares from strain types and names. Out of all my friends i'm the only one that knows about different strain types and hybrids etc, etc... Most people just want mj. On the other hand, knowing the names of the strains throws of my friend. He'll tell me he got Pot of Gold, and Super Silver Haze...so i'm like okay, you got any pure indica strains? or something that i can use for night time sleep? His reaction ended that convo. kailiwela44

| After finding my notes, i decided to send her back into vegging. It's been a few months and after looking over the pictures all she seemed to be doing was shedding leaves more than producing flowers. She is on a 20/4 light schedule, and i have a couple mango seeds from marijuana-nl that have cracked this morning and will be transferred into 4" pots. I believe the reason why she lacked the forititued was because there was no veg period and very little root mass when transplanting. kailiwela44

| yes, Kaili. You cannot and will not have good buds if you do not have good roots. Let her veg till she is root bound or close to it, then I plant into 3 to 5 gallon pails and flower. it does take time for the bone meal to break down. It is natural. Bat guano and bloodmeal break down fast, and that is why they can also burn plants. Maybe try feeding her some nitrogen based liquid to get those leaves to stay on and keep growing. Fish fert is good, but whatever you have. You also need high P in the nute to get the roots to grow, and you use it for flowering as well.

| I got some alaskan fish emulsion for veg. i also added some bone meal on top the soil so it could get P in a couple weeks. I'm also going to be giving her a dose of superthrive when the mango seeds are ready for their first transplant. kailiwela44

| I just learned something the other day about Superthrive. Never use it on a flowering plant as it has urea in it and that slows down the flower formation. neat aiy? Pass it on!
