Are these good choices for a first time CFL grower?

I was looking at Nirvana's seeds, and found two strains that are short growing and apparently good for the SOG method.

Do you have any experience with the Papaya and Bubbelicious strains under CFL's?


I'll only have about 36-38" of head room once I have my box set up. Would these two strains be good to start with since they are shorter? And, is it ok to veg and flower two different female strains in the same box?

Any other strains you can recommend that are shorter but still pack a wallop?

Both strands are awesome....you can flower the two plants(strainds) as long as one is not a male...

Thank you! I'm really excited to get my box started.

At first, I had my heart set on ordering strictly feminized seeds so that there's no question, but it looks like I'd be better off just trying my luck and ordering a normal 10 pack and just weeding the boys out. It's less expensive, and it looks like I'd have more choices.

Maybe even just start with 3 seeds from each pack for a total of six plants. I would think I'd get two girls out of six.

Hindu Kush is another short growing plant I'm curious about.

yeah ive got some bub. going at the moment under cfls, there going great too, i had 100 % germination rate with them, i think youll be really happy with them.
What kind of set up are you running lights, box etc?

We use SUPERTHRIVE for germating. Out of 10 bagseed seeds we got 7 females which is very good. Use some superthrive with the water and I think you be happy with the results...
