i still get some heat but isnt anything to worry about. the plants grow fine without spending a ton of money on lights.

Hey, hempie good luck on the grow. I am currently growing with the aerogarden as is, but I am going to be adding CFL's really soon. Could I get a recommendation for some CFL's that would be good all around for both veg and bloom? The aerogarden can only hold 7 plants, crowded, or 4 plants who are not crowded. Anyway, good to be here.
Peace

Higha!

I am using CFL-Bulbs in my (very simple) grow box which is 40x40x80 inch.
I have not that much experience so far, as it´s my first indoor attempt. I took one of my plants from the balcony into the box 10 days ago, using a 200 W CFL ( 6400 K for veg ), the plan was to keep it under veg as long as possible. But soon i realized, that it was too late as the plants already transformed into flowering, so i changed the bulb, now using a 200 W CFL (2700 K for flowering). As far as i can see, that is enough light for the size of my box as the plant developes very well.

Peace, Martin
