ok what i have is 1000 w hps my room is 14' by 10' my current light is on a mover a 9' track.. i have read up on some cfl usage in hear and online and i was wondering if anyone has done this and if so could give me some insight... i was going to add 3 85w cfls along both long sides for a total of 6 in the room or should i put a Y connector on and put 6 to a side any help would be appreciated thanks

If The Room Can Handle The Extra Heat That 12-More Lights Will Make, And With The Main Light On A Light Track, Yes It Will Help Alot To Add The Side Lighting.

Yea man,you definantly want to add C.F.L.'s.The only advice I have is to get smaller bulbs and put a cluster of them right on the plants.I dont care to much for the bigger bulbs but I like a lot of the smaller (23-26 watt)ones.I have 6 around my grow right now with a 400hps in the center

thanks guys i was going to add another 1000k and take the one i have off of the mover then add the cfls around the room i just want a more even grow and i am not getting that right now thanks
