Cool Is this pump overkill?

Hey guys, do you think this pump is too much for a 4 plant, multi-tub DWC?

http://www.aquariumguys.com/pondmaster-air-pump.html

here is what i mean:
...^..^.................^...^<---lights
__|__|____....... __|__|__<---plants
|...tub.....|........|.....tub..|
|....#1.....|........|......#2..|
|===\/===========\/=======[pump]

that pump is powerful, but is it too much?

See, I think that if I get this one, I will be able to add a few more tubs along the way.......

maybe, u want to make sure it is strong enough to cause moisture to get to the root, without it splashing, Its should just break the water(little bubbles) but lots of them..... Soo maybe a good airstone is the key. im not sure, when i did mine i used a very small pump and a good size airstone and mine did allright.

Nope definitely not overkill i think it is perfect if anything. you want as much bubble as you can get without getting seriously violent lol.
this is what they suggest .ALITA Linear Air Pump. a little expensive but perfect for the job.
i use wal mart pumps and they work fine but this is what i want!

I know I can look this up, but how big do they make the discs? I mean, if I use one BIG bubble disc per tub, would that keep the air pressure solid, instead of split with different lines, or would it even matter(prob not) with this pump?
