the link won't work for me and the promise that a CFL will kill the smell of a well sized plant sounds like bull to me since a carbon filter has a hard time already to reduce it and doesn't even close in on a kill...

hey green_nobody, the link is working fine now, but it doesn't seem to promise killing the odor, just that it does. I don't know, I have never heard of something like this, it sounds interesting in theory.

I would love this for the kitty box area, and they might work great in dank basemanets and bathrooms, pretty neat little CFL. Thanks midgrade

I have seen them 6mos ago.Somebody said they burn hotter then the other cfls.i dont know either.I saw them at 1000blubs.com for around $10.00 bucks.Not enough grower have try them to say anything about them.I dont know.If somebody dose please post it. Thank you and PEACE

...mh, I actually recall now a thread on the dank RUI a few month ago about those, something that they are specially coated to emit more UV-rays which is seen from the technical/physical side commercial bullshit and not worth a damn cent...

which would make them even more useless since the fact that they produce more heat then standard CFLs would indicated that they are less energy efficient and so speaking wasting watts which they won't put out in usable lumen. ...and of to the trash basket-gone!

sort of like those blue grow lights. The idea is SALEABLE, but the effieciency is not there.
