i'm just tryin' to help others with the same spirit that others have helped me. i try to live by the 'Golden Rule', 'what goes around, comes around', so when things are landing on me i try to think of it as payback for all the times i deserved it and got away with it, LOL

and, believe me, nothing impressive about it, just a lot of hard work, coupled with a lot of good help.

lol, i can't stop now, i'm having too much fun!

btw, i was thinking about taking this bit about cloning and clones, fleshing it out with some commentary and starting a tutorial thread for newbies like me, what do you think?

That would be just great Bozo. Cloning is important and you have made a wonderful contributition. Just keep it up, and you too could win the GP contest for the hydro kit and other goodies! That would be a wonderful way to continue your grow.

I would love to see that and have a clear, easy plan to make your cloner. Go for it!!!!

thanks jangel, although everything i do i learned from others that shared thier methods freely. i just tailored them to fit my situation and budget.

frankly, i never even considered the contest, partly cause i came into it late and also cause i'm still a little nervous about giving up my actual street address (i'm sure, in my front brain, that it's safe, but i'm still nervous)

truthfully, i started posting my fumbling efforts hoping to get help when i needed it and, more importantly, because i truely do live by 'what goes around comes around', so i'm just tryin' to help the newbies the way you and many others helped me.

hey, Bozo, that is the spirit of GP. I know about the address thing, but be assured, videoman takes care of all that as you are not alone in this.

It is in our newbie fumblings around, with a fresh mind never before trained to think something is NOT possible that true creation is born. Of course you saw and learned before building your cloner, but you did it from a fresh perspective that makes it truely yours. And anything that can help others is superb.

sorry i haven't posted any updates lately but i've been having problems with my youngest (16 yr old fem)
because of those problems, she threatened to call LEO on me so i had to chop most of my garden (enough of it so she believed me when i said it was all if it)

i did hold back rooted cuttings from 6 different donor plants, 3 each from both of the bagbean strains i was, i am, growing.

i was able to then take cuttings from the 3 most vigorous of the bunch and send to flower, 1 confirmed female, 2 dead (i have 2 cuttings from the female in dirt and under 12\12, plus a new momma, solidly rooted and beginning to grow, plus 8 other cuttings from the original donor plant, which i then chopped)

soon i will be able to put cuttings from my other 3 donors into flower to, hopefully, find at least 1 more fem, from the other strain i'm growing.

then i will have 2 mommas from 2 different strains both producing 4 rooted cuttings every other week

also, hopefully, when my economic stimulus check arrives, i plan on buying seeds from Nirvana for 3 premium strains, by then i'll know for sure if my bins will work for my SOG or if i have them packed too tight

anyway, my daughter has her camera now so i have no new pics, i have to get another camera on the first i guess

btw, here is a pic of my 16yr old, what do you think, should i buy a chastity belt? or a shotgun? LOL

lol, i started drinkin' outside the home in '66, when i was 11, started smokin' the ganj in '69 when is was 14.
since then, well, lets just say God must have been lookin' out for me 'cause i should be dead the way i've lived my life.

been clean and sober except for weed for almost 12 years now and i thank God every day that i don't have to live that way any more.

i don't go wild with the weed either, maybe 1.5 grams per day, tops

Hey BOZO,
I know it's normal to worry about your kids. I was the only one out of 10 to be kicked out at 16, so I must have been real bad. Hmmm I was also the 2 out of 5 not to get pregnant. Now I'm 42 and responsible heheheheh well my house my cars everything I own is payed for with no bills besides utilities. So there is light at the ent of the tunel. Be paitient with her, she will pull out of it with your love and guidence.

wow, i can't believe how much time has passed.

sorry i haven't been posting lately but i've just been too busy getting my ass kicked by the real world, and i do mean kicked.

as i sit here trying to share what's been going on with me i can't help thinking that everything i write sounds like an excuse, like me whining 'it's not my fault, boo hoo'.

the truth is though, that i live on a non-service connected Veterans disability that doesn't allow me to earn any part time money to suppliment my income so that i could provide my children with more.

what that means for me is that i live, balanced on the knife edge of poverty (actually, my annual income is below the poverty line) so if any part of my life breaks down, it puts stress on all other parts.

for example, where i live, Family Court and Child Support Enforcement don't actually communicate with each other so, even though i've had custody of my kids for nearly 6 years, Child Support Enforcement has had my drivers liscense suspended for non-payment of child support 4 different times. now, each time they do it, i go to Family Court and straighten it out and get a letter from court so i can get my liscense back (for a re-instatement fee of $125.00), then, within about 6 months i start getting letters from Child Support Enforcement threatening to have my liscense suspended for non-payment.

see, it sounds like an excuse.

unfortunately though, because i can't drive, i have to shop locally, and i can only buy what i can carry in a back-pack, so everything is more expensive to buy and more work to transport. anyway, because this is an area of my life that has 'broken down', it puts added stress on every other area.

alas, when 2 or more things break down my life suffers exponentially so, for the last couple of months things have been really hand to mouth for me.

anyway, i'm back on track now and, God willing and the creek don't rise, i'll do my best to keep up to date.

as a bloke not that far out of his teens to have forgotten what it was REALLY like i reckon you COULD buy both.

keep up the good work, if ya give her as much love and care as ya do the little ones under the stairs she wont forget that and eventually iron out.. i know i did, and i was a prick, a **** wit, imoral, iresponsible, a stoner scum with no respect for anything on two legs that wore a dress. at least thats what every repectable dad with a nice daughter thought of me.

deep down it was just a cover for the soft nice guy i am today... hehehe
