Default Lets grow piff~fem. mazar, fem. laughing buddha

I just got this grow kicked off September 22, I'm thrilled to finally be growing my own bud. I got a hold of a few feminized Mazar and Laughing Buddha seeds so i planted one of each in my Rubbermaid setup. I have two Forty five gallon bins lined with Mylar with a 120mm computer fan for exhaust. I also put an intake fan on the bottom bin but now I've read that's no good so i suppose i'll take it out one of these days.

I'll get some pictures up soon. this has taken me forever to type so for now tell me what you think. All help is appreciated, i can see a lot of you know your stuff.

Lights:

(6) 6500k 26w cfl
(2) 2300k 42w cfl

-lights on 24/0
-temps 77 Degrees Fahrenheit
-humidity 48-55%

Fertilizer
-- Fox Farm: Grow BigŪ, Tiger BloomŪ, and of course Big BloomŪ
.

Potting Medium-- organic mix consisting of corn husk fibers, pure worm castings, perlite, and forest products. Also, the active ingredient in compost at 27%

looks like you've been doing your research kryptic. ill have to keep an eye on this grow and see how these girls come out. definitely want to get my hands on some fems. soon. good luck with everything.

one thing i would suggest at the moment is maybe you don't need 8 lights running for the first week or so just because it might be a bit overkill at such an early stage. i would plant another 1 of each just to be safe you never know what can happen, sex isn't only thing that is a factor in getting buds. you gotta make it there first and in no way am i saying your not capable of making those 2 get there with no problems but there are always variables that come into play that are somewhat unexpected. its just nice to have a back up in case something does go wrong you know what i mean?

other than that good luck and ill chime in when ever theres anything i can help with and im sure plenty of others will be interested to see where this goes as well.

that fem mazar is gonna be a great plant for you.....it is my favorite strain to grow and second favorite to smoke....looks like you are planning things out well...that bodes well for your success....some first grows are actually much better than subsequent grows as a first timer bings so much care to the process, almost reverence as that fist crop is created from just a few tiny seeds....you always remember your first....or the first after a long time away

well I like blueberry best for its long lasting euphoric high.....and the cool smell...and it stores well for a long time

and I like mazar for its very strong but balanced high....body and mind

but for me - the way I smoke has the biggest impact on the high
smoking the right amount, at the right time, in the right setting. and if I grew it myself its always better...just like a meal that I prepare....or a song that I wrote, love to enjoy the fruit of my creative efforts and I am sure you do to!

Do you have a favorite strain?

out of the strains i have smoked I'd say my favorite and most memorable one was sour diesel for the unique taste and smell of it and the high is great very cerebral and uplifting as i remember.

i couldnt find my camera and im too baked right now to go look for it so i'll put some pics up tomorrow
