There is an unexpected addition to the family here! I won this months contest so we will be watching "The Hash" grow right here!! I have a lot of reading up to do now lol I'm just starting to figure out this weird bagseed but now I really gotta be on top of my game here. lol I know they say not to count your chickens b4 they are hatched but...if things go right here, I just won FREE MEDS FOR LIFE!!!!! 10 little tiny seeds will start the ball rolling here. I better take some pics later lol I been picking at them and am gonna go pick some in a couple hours to celebrate! Wahoo! Hi Sabasi!

You gotta give them light, light, light!

I, as you, am using the cfl path. But I'm on my first grow. Though, I found out by myself that CFL's aren't penetrative at all, so I had to up my 1x250 with 4 additional 30w on the sides, to help out. And this is for 2 snowryders! And I can see that they are loving it..

Cool! I will check. I also noticed one of bulbs is a lil dimmer now? I have another 42w ww to replace it with. How many watts do you guys think for the next 3 lights?

Major update today!! On GP's 1 year anniversary I finally got my prize seeds!! YES!! I am truly over the moon! I was shaking when I seen them in my box! Just now calming down! Anyway, the container says NL and the paper says G#5 So I'm even more ecstatic cuz those are the ones I REALLY wanted! I don't think I mentioned it to anyone but Iv'e been trying to scrounge up the money for new seeds for about 3 months now. Knowing from reading here that you only need one female to have Ganja for life if done correctly! No more shady people for me!! Whew!! Only GP from now on!! So... NL#5 it is!!! I'm gonna germ 5 of them at this point. My ladie luck has really been shining through with my bagseed so far! I think they like being in a lesbians closet personaly!! Tomarow I'm gonna try to find sockets so I can put more light in there. No point growing with less light if you can swing it while keeping temps down. 2 of my bulbs now are a little dimmer now. I'm almost sure this is effecting bud density as we speak. Been watering with epsom, superthrive and molasses and feeding every 3rd water. So far so good. Oh, and also thought I would try using viniger to bring PH down a tad. It looks like I'm sitting around oh 6.8ish. Hard to tell really with these strips but they are better than nothing! I'll have better pics when I can get my photoshop cs4 installed. I'm still recovering from windows police pro virus that took my bios out a few weeks back now. I was overdo for an upgrade anyways lol So I'll have more pics in a bit here!!

I know it's been awhile since I took pics so you may not recognize these anymore, and a few have already been smoked and put right back under 12/12 but they are unbelievably small buds lmao I may give up on them to make better use of my space. Now that my NL#5 have come I will be making room. Anyways, on with the show!

Sab, here is a plant of a friends. All he is using is two cfl's on a y connector. and the plant has blown up! I know yours will take off once you get more in there sweetie.

Ahhh thanks! I don't have any big pots to put them in but I'm sure more light will help with what I have lol Not sure if 3 more 42W cfl's will increase the heat or not lol Maybe I will just get some that are like 23W WW cfl's, that would be cheaper too!

I got the 30W's and they produce very little heat, and compared to the 250WCFL they produce NO heat, so I'd go for the biggies..

I am tempted to go for the 42W WW again if they have them. I'll keep the bedroom window open all winter to keep it cool enough if I have to lol I am finding that leaving a cup with 1/2" of water in it helps them not to dry out as bad too. Thanks for having a look-see!

Finally found y-splitters here! Sheesh that took awhile lol I also got 3 32W WW for the new ones and 1 more 42W WW to replace the dimmest one. So another mere $50 towards the cab lol I can still say I have been running way under budget for this hobby. I also picked up some dolomite lime and bat guano and another bag of perlite and another bag of roots organic for a total of $32 paid in cash of course. They had the coarse grade perlite by fox farm but they were like huge 4 foot tall bags and I doubt I could ever use that much! Not on this micro grow! I also just checked on the seeds and they are nice and warm on a heating pad set on low and they look like they may even pop tonight!! I can't tell yet if Sadie is a girl or not yet but I'm sure I'll know in a couple weeks. My better half is napping so I am anxiously awaiting for her help on the cab additions lol Oh duh one more valuable lesson learned...when plugging in heating pad, make sure it's a tight connection before the cats run by and pull it out of the cord lmao So seeds were wet anyway, just not very warm. This is exactly why you shouldn't put all your seeds in germ at once. If something were to happen catastrophy wise, you will still have seeds lol
